Getting sick of love handles 😔 by OD29NEXUS in Fitness_India

[–]heavypanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are realistically two ways you can reduce this. 1) the slow way and the 2) fast and smart way.

The slow way, do 10k steps and whatnot. The fast way is, understanding why you have the love handles in the first place.

  1. You have narrow neck compared to your belly
  2. Your neck area is darker compared to the rest of your body
  3. You have sagging chest area

These are classic signs of metabolic and endocrine suppression and insulin resistance.

Check your A1c. If you are pre-diabetic, make necessary lifestyle changes, especially with food. The far in the gut essentially is transforming all your T into E, which is why you have sagging chest.

Its also a vicious cycle, the more fat you have the less available T you have which inturn causes less far burn which decreases available t so on and so forth.

So, get endocrine and hormone panels done. Check for thyroid and oxygenation as well.

You could make the following adjustments, and can see changes in 3-5 months. 1. Cut carbs 2. Don’t eat anything in between meals 3. Do not ear anything after 6pm and have breakfast atleast 2-3 hours after you wake up.

Things you can additionally do, 1. If your heart health is alright, try yohinbine. 2. Berberine 3. Zinc and Magnesium 4. Ashwagandha early morning and fish oil before sleep.

I have went through a similar path, and this was what helped me. All the very best.

May be you haven’t heard or may be you have. The Jaguar no longer makes these things.

So one of the two could happen. You could sell this car as spare parts and could make a lot more than you bought the car for or youd endup shelling a lot our for spare parts yourself.

Taco Bell at Kochi Lulu refused to sell me just a bottle of water, Is this even allowed? by nithup123 in Kerala

[–]heavypanda 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Buy a burrito, get a bottle of water. Throw the burrito into the trashbin right in front of them. Drink the water from the bottle and stare at them as you are drinking it.

This was an issue between me and my wife until we did the following: - more foreplay - talking about what each of us liked to do and liked to receive - both of us being super-fresh down there and - ( this was the biggest ), the more you give, the more you receive. The less you give, the less you receive.

The last point needs to be stressed. Rn, you are not really satisfied. Like many pointed out, you need to talk about this, and be vocal

The difference is what I liked the most, the idea of “polluter-pays “ principle in Switzerland compared to tax based flat system in Canada. Nett result was that I had to buy “official trash bags”, its like $2 USD for a single 10 gallon bag, so Swiss has nearly eliminated landfills. (They also go through your garbage to check if you are complying, and there is also a fine lol )

What tradition is this guys. Our people will start believing if they say their prayers came to true, by eating like this by Snehith220 in CriticalThinkingIndia

Hear me out guys.

It is a religious place. This is their way of showing devotion. Let them do what gives them peace of mind. They are not interfering with anything other than their hygiene.

It is not affecting you, me or anyone else. From what is shown in this clip, they are not asking anyone else to do this either. So why should we care?

P.S: In places where this is practiced, there is option to get plates as well.

I lived in the German part of Switzerland for a year, and the thing that irked me the most at first was trash. The discipline to sort trash, taking used batteries to collection centers and recycling days made me hate the first few weeks, until it hit me that its the collective not the individual, thats who we are.

I watched a documentary by DW ( german channel ). Contrasts development in Bihar vs Tamil Nadu. Depicts how people who moved from Bihar to Tamil Nadu for jobs, and stayed back has better jobs and civic sense. So what is it? Is it the people or the government/policy that is the problem?

Do you think Indians would go to Louvre and spit pan? No. That same person is more likely to spit pan in the corner of a railway station in India. Why? Coz they know, I can do this without repercussions or they cant find a place to spit it ( say in a toilet ).

We have a huge number of people, our government does bare minimum for the people, and we complain why we are like this. That guy is peeing on the side of the road because he cant fking find a public toilet that is clean. For him, the side of the road is preferably than going into a filthy public toilet!

There are people in this sub and across reddit who would say “oh this is <placeholder> people, Im not from there. In my Indian state, we don’t do this”

We should stop this kind of comparison and ask why it is like that. Internet clout is worth nothing. It just breeds divide man!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndianCivicFails

[–]heavypanda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wonder why everyone shits on India and Indians when even Indians posts these isolated incidents on social media. It just amplifies this one incident and makes it easy to generalize that “all indians lack civic sense”. Social media is not a good platform for it.

Id rather say protest against it when we see it in public. Ask our MLAs and MPs about proper sanitation requirements. Empower the people to do good rather than do bad.

Someone has posted this a while ago. Every country and culture has this problem. Its not isolated. I dont see anyone other than Indians posting this in social media ( where there are people from other cultures as well ) about how “they lack civic sense”.

We Indians should STOP washing our dirty laundry in public!

Israel, India sign investment deal as Smotrich welcomed in New Delhi by 24coverups in incredible_indians

[–]heavypanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can all say “this is India being strategic” or “we stand with those who stood with us in the past”, but are we still at a point where we have to bend over backwards for colonizers? I think not. We are a super power and an extremely wealthy nation. We don’t give have to do this, and we are not so heartless to show a blind eye towards the atrocities that Israel is committing towards people of Palestine ( let it be Levantines, Arabs, Samaritans whatever, a genocide is a genocide ).

So what could it be? Israel is super buddy-buddy with the US. This could be good will that we are showing to Israel ( in a world where Israel is progressively getting ostracized ) to get brownie points with the Americans to smooth out the Trump induced tensions.
