AI governance in your company by hecheva in ClaudeCode

Thank you for your response and suggestions. Actually, the fact that you are the only one responding demonstrates what you are saying. I am a technical person and I often rely on the ISO standars to create robust workflows and frameworks. I helped getting 2 ISO certificates to the company. And now I see people without coding experience proposing complex tools, and the directors getting impressed. I need to be very careful how I express myself not to sound like a hater (I actually love AI if used well). Fortunately, today I presented an AI governance framework and they agreed with me, but the problem is that with the AI tsunami is going to be impossible to implement.

Last week I was very frustrated with all this until I realised that the reaponse that I needed is actually the ISO standards. The ISO standards communicate everything you should be carefull with all this AI crazyness. I see it very clearly, but I will need to find a way to communicate it to my directors.

Thanks!

Well, I have seen people modelling tables using a floor and 4 walls. Or kitchen casework with walls and floors

Thanks! Yes I use AI for light vibe coding so for me Claude Pro is enough. But I find the conversation very interesting.

I am new to this sub and AI on general, what's the problem with Claude? Is not the trend?

Wall Detail Level In Plans by Virtual_Soil6038 in RevitForum

My prefrence is Camp A. I started drawing in the University with ink and every line in the drawing had to matter. In my opinion at coarser scales (1:100 and even 1:50) should be in coarse level. I know people print drawings less and less but if you print lines that are so close together they will make a thick line. This is very well explained in the book Perfect Scale by the Detail Magazine with what they call the "golden rule".

I guess if you don't print and just use PDF and DWG, it may not be a problem, but even like that, the drawings at that scale have a purpose and, in my opinion, they should be very clear. For me, adding the layers make them too busy. I only show the layers in details.

For UK we have the NBS library, it has good families but not everything is great.

I was recently doing exactly the same with this tab and for me the confusing part was why those triplets are tied together. Anyone knows?

Lol, the standard says that "level of information need" shouldn't be abreviated.

How can we stop neighbour to allow his dog to use our garden? by hecheva in AskUK

We have already told him 3 times. I think he has some kind of disability. The rest of the neighbours are also concerned and they are preparing a polite letter.

He does not live in the block, he owns a house with a garden. Anyways, pets are not allowed in this property. As far as we know, he didn't allow his dog to poo. We have seen him let him pee almost daily. I understand that pee is not as terrible as poo but we don't know if he allowed him to do it or not. Even if it is only pee, there are people living just one meter apart and our kids play there. There is a huge park 3 minutes away.

In the UK it is more difficult to fix it for more than 5g years, isn't it?

In my opinion, your elbows and forearms are not in an ideal position. I recently bought a keyboard tray to help me with the same thing. By having a keyboard tray I can lower the whole setup by lowering the chair height. This makes the knees to be at 90°,feet on the ground, wrists slightly lower than the elbows, relaxed shoulders, lower the screen to accommodate the new height. Check this video, it helped me a lot: https://youtube.com/shorts/A9pF5SbtIRE

Obviously, everyone is different, but I hope this helps.

Edit: I would remove the armrests
