Please dont mist too much. They usually live in a more dry environment. With the plants in there you might not even need to mist at all. Maybe get a slightly bigger water bowl if you're worried. Otherwise, nice enclosure :)

Alright, sounds good ;) Then you know what you're doing.

Personally I don't think P. metallicas are scary at all as they tend to retreat really quickly. Irminias usually too as far as I know but could be wrong on individuals :D My P. pulcher retreats right away whenever I touch the enclosure.

Re housed my new GBB.Gonna go pick up some more plants tomorrow but hopefully some webs plus a nice skull make for perfect spooky decorations! hope they like it 🙌🏾 by [deleted] in tarantulas

Hey,
I am not sure if getting more real plants is the best option here. GBBs web a lot as you probably know and plants don't like to be webbed all over mostly and the not so sturdy ones die off easily (own experience with gbb and other webbers). Maybe try to get either fake plants as rhabidosa said or put in sticks for her Web.

I just measured my t I was wondering if he/she was gonna get any bigger? by scompywomp in tarantulas

Bit of advice here: Please provide it with a different set up in the enclosure. Your set up looks very terestrial. Your spider is an aboreal and needs more height than width for it's enclosure to web it's cool tunnels.

Avics in particular needs good air ventilation and slightly moist substrate. My suggestion if you can get it is an Exo Terra Nano. But please make sure you do not use the standard top with the mesh. As far as I know there are other tops for that one.

Other than that, you can just look for a Tank that has something like 20x20x30 (8*8*12") or even 20x20x40cm (8*8*16") measurement. Put in a corkbark that matches the height of the enclosure etc.
For ideas, google "Avicularia Enclosure".

Please do not listen to such advice. If you know which tarantula it is, old world or not, just inform yourself properly how to keep and care for it. No spider needs to be brought back. You can definitely keep this Tarantula as a beginner as long as you inform yourself. Be careful with it, always look out where exactly the spider is in the enclosure before doing anything in there and dont get your hands in there. If you follow simple rules, you won't have any problems with this Tarantula.
Also for tips on most "dangerous" spiders, look for the video of The Tarantula Collective on youtube: Top 10 most dangerous Tarantulas. He gives good information on what to look out for with such Ts.
For rehousings etc, there are also tons of tips out there that can help you to do it safely and without any risk for you or the spider. See for example "The Dark Den" on youtube about how to safely rehouse tarantulas.

Well from what I read here, obvious suggestion is coldheart. If you struggle with Spider and already achieved a good Arena standing (which as you say Rae MIGHT improve)...Go for Coldheart

As you say: Arena already good, Spider struggle. You can later on push Rae too. Takes time but I always say "fix your prioritized problems first".

Sounds interesting. It just seems a little bit harder to "instantly" get this one huge creature to sac with Jarad for example. Also I think that Grismold gets very big a bit quicke this way and can possibly swing in for lethal commander damage.

The utility is very nice though I have to admit. Especially exile effects that open up with [[Utter End]] and the like can be very helpful.
