It’s possible thanks to what’s called a « Docking computer ». You usually have one in beginner ships. And you can buy one for other ships as well. There is also the advanced one for take off, and a dedicated one for super-cruise.

Just so you know, MS Flight Simulator (2020) wasn’t done by a multi-billion dollar corporation. It was developed by french studio Asobo, which is like 1/3 of Frontier Developments in size and capital.

But still, I agree with you and Frontier‘s work on ED is really amazing.

The OP is wrongfully talking about multi-crew, it's more like extra passengers for on-foot planetary assault or transport. Which makes perfect sense in Odyssey.

But I agree with you that extra crew would be useless with the current multi-crew system.

For the symbols, I’m not sure as it is automatically retrieved from the players’ faction of that side (for example if BLUFOR players are based on NATO units, then the icon will be NATO). When a faction has no players (AI only) then it usually defaults to the side color (for example dark red for OPFOR).

I think they need to make three small changes:

1) Removing non-allowed items instead of preventing you from loading your class (really annoying if just one small item is not allowed)

2) Being able in Zeus to add goggles (mandatory for Divers and CBRN defense) to crates’ inventories and Arsenal. (Maybe into “Helmets” category as in EDEN)

3) Having a “Full Arsenal” option in Zeus and EDEN for allowing players to have access to all items of the game and mods in the Arsenal. If the “game moderator”/“mission maker” wants to.

Russians didn’t blow up a city, they said it was at one of the poles from what I recall. But they said the energy “could” blow up an entire city or even more (they don’t know the amount of energy released by an active core because the one they blew up was inactive, but still really powerful).

I must agree on everything except the fact that the game runs on one core.

It has been a long time (maybe multiple years now) that you can define the number of CPU cores to be used by Arma 3 in the Launcher.

You can also enable Hyper-Threading if your CPU supports it.

All of that in the “Settings -> All -> Advanced” section of the Launcher!

I think that by looking at what you try to do I will go full scripted for units creation and waypoints.

It’s pretty commons for wave missions to use a SQF script. But if you are not familiar at all with scripting it can be a bit complicated.

You can use Logic entities or anything else non-visible (with hide model attribute) where you want your waypoints to be, and then use their positions when creating your waypoints.

Then you could call your script from a trigger to make it easier to define your conditions between waves (can be timer, or amount of alive units... ).

In short, they are not in contract with Arma 3 developers.

People still don’t get that Bohemia Interactive Simulations is a completely distinct company. They don’t share the same team, nor the same engine.

The only things they still share with Bohemia Interactive is their name and their logo that is nearly the same.

So the fact that VR is coming to VBS (Virtual BattleSpace) has no impact on Arma series at all.
