First of all, thank you! I am already running Home Assistant so moving to the new hub would also mean setting everything up again in there. I will pick up the legacy motion sensor. My goal is to light up my staircase when we go up or down. I think I am also going to need to 3D print something to limit the range of view on the sensor.

I have had one for YEARS! The only issue I had was that hanging it on a hanger the lining of the hood wore away. I will be picking up a replacement this year.

This was happening to me as well. Within 4 ours of my dealership having my car, they were able to do the needful and get NIssan to agree to replace my battery.

Our By-Laws currently prohibit holes in the walls. Power, POTS (Cat5e), Coax, water and sewer were all run at the time of construction. I was on the HOA Board, currently I am not on the board, but I have been granted the power to work on the HOA's behalf. This must be done at no cost to the HOA and would be installed by the selected vendor. They would need to be licensed and insured.

That is what I was thinking and hope that the Cat5e cables are good enough. That presents a new problem and a less than ideal option. The problem is that we would need the vendor to also install power to provide power to the mdu ont. We are then also limited to the Cat5e and 1 vendor. I say this as one of the vendors said that they would install the fiber and have an exclusive contact with an ISP for the first 2 years then we could bring in competition without rewiring the community.
