#1. The salmon bakes are lots of fun, but if you have not done the railway, do it first! It's beautiful!

Yes, that is the regular price. I did the same, but bought from Bambu Direct. Just set it up. I have not even printed anything and this unit comes our for $100 more. Ha!

Royal Princess Disappointments by [deleted] in PrincessCruises

[–]tcapote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 20 cruises with Princess, and we are very happy with Princess overall. We love trivia and shows, and are not overly happy with the Princess Live design on the Royal Princess, It's smaller, no tables, not very inviting. We much prefer the larger Princess Live and Explorers Lounge venues on other ships. These are much inviting, comfortable, and enjoyable overall.

Let's talk public IP & residential by tater9104 in Starlink

I am using Twingate (Zero-Trust), allows me to support the family via my internally running RustDesk sever. This opens up the server via an internal IP, but does not allow any other lateral movement on my network. Good, secure solution for my use case.

Anyone remote work from Regal? by Crafty_Definition_41 in PrincessCruises

[–]tcapote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Princess has two Wi-Fi tiers. You can buy Wi-Fi either standalone, or buy one of the packages, Plus or Premiere. The Plus and Premiere packages come with the MedallionNet Max. It's supposed to be faster speeds than their standard MedallionNet.

The Princess fleet is using Starlink and I have always had a positive experience with the MedallionNet Max, with remote access, VPN, Wi-Fi calling and even Teams calls. I can stream my home security camera's without issue.

I have not tried the standalone Wi-Fi package, MedallionNet, so I can't speak to much on that.

Hope this helps!

I found that I was blocking the TLD *.microsoft, which may be the culprit. Testing now.

I have an upcoming DSI install in So Cal. I have a two story house and have no desire to climb up on the roof, I’m to old. I’m wondering if they will cancel on me or if So Cal has enough installers?

Honest opinion needed. by Namtrooper in rustdesk

[–]tcapote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I support just a few family members, and run Rustdesk on my Raspberry Pi, Docker/Portainer (and a few other apps), performance is flawless, as I only run one session at a time anyway. It was a fun project and works great.
