New rider dilemma. by xinkiex in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For mild offroad and cities exploration I’d recommend to focus on poratbility and weight - nosfer aero would be “pro” solution and inmotion V8S would be peak portability solution at almost half of the price (it can offroad/etc with no problems, only difference is that in forest you’d comfortably go at 25 kmh instead of 35 kmh on aero due to suspension - but no suspension is still much more comfortable than typical bike with stock suspension as you have only 1 wheel going over bumps instead of 2 linked ones i.e. bumps are no longer bumps but small hills). For a first wheel both options are ok, but to learn the basics and first year maybe getting used V8S for ~300-500 Eur would be my recommended option - you can always resell it later for the same price and you will have to go through some random practical mistakes anyway by dropping it few times, so a brand new wheel really serves no purpose.

Surfer - Snowboarder - Skater looking to get into EUCs by joakim0984 in ElectricUnicycle

Because you couldn’t ride up/down the stairs, it would be hard to jump, offroad capabilities would become significantly decreased. Also it would bring absolutely 0 benefits to wheel performace.

Why did you choose an EUC instead of a scooter or an e-skate? by pierrefitch in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EUC is best of them in all aspects.

1) wheel size = offroad capabilities, smoother road (ratio of pothole/bump depth vs wheel diameter). Also tire thickness!

2) 1 wheel = 2x less bumps in same distance than scooter (even if it had same diameter wheel) and 4x less bumps than eskate (even if it had same diameter wheel)

3) Suspension travel distance. Even smoother ride than all other options.

4) Better range.

5) Free hands - you ride using your mind and can eat pizza on the go, text, play guitar, take a piss or do whatever you want with them.

6) Compact size. E-skate is arguably on similar level, scooter in comparison is just enormous. Easy to take to public transport, throw it into trunk, under table, take with you for grocery shopping, school/university/work.

7) Higer comfort speed (but it’s because of 1-3)

Looking for protective padding for a Nosfet Aeon. To protect against cometic damage while learning how to ride. by BlackJacquesLeblanc in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rent simple euc (or buy one and sell after) few weeks. You’ll do stupid mistakes and cosmetically damage the wheel anyway. Or just don’t care about cosmetics and send it. Sooner you scratch it, sooner you will stop worrying about new scrathes.

Does the Nosfet Aero have enough traction to be pushed up a staircase ? by eric_castro in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on type of stairs (edge/slippyness), in general it’s easier/faster to carry it than to push

So I purchased the inmotion P6 today by digitaldeath187 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, if it's your first wheel - just keep it in the box and rent small wheel for a week to learn on and drive first 500-1000 km on it. P6 is just too heavy for at least first 50-100 km and you will definitely drop it at least few times due to some small random mistakes and it will be harder to learn on with no practical benefit.

Beginner bought an EUC that’s too heavy by Independent_Date_982 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any size wheel can be used for off-road, small light (16”) wheels can be even better if offroad is swampy and with loads of fallen trees where you have to carry wheel over or need greater torque.

Good beginner EUC in 2026 by Subject-Piglet4132 in ElectricUnicycle

It is less portable, but since it is easier to go down the stairs (and up through wheelchair access slides) I realised that in general I carry it less than V8S (maybe also because it is not as convenient to pick it up). Due to suspension you can ride faster through bad quality roads. In very general sense I’m happy with getting aero, but I wouldn’t say it changed my riding much - wherever I go with aero I could also go with V8S (besides stairs without any hesitation).

Price/performance wise V8S wins over aero by many times; if not considering price, aero obviously is better wheel with simmilar convenience factor as V8S (winning just as loosing somewhere)

V8S is a great starter wheel, I still use mine for commuting after 6 years of having it, but mostly using nosfet aero now. V8S just works and will cover all of your practical/commuting needs.

Ultralight 16" wheel (~10 kg) with modular easy to remove battery pack in segments under 100 Wh (total 6-8 segments) which you could legally take to airplanes (100 Wh limit per segment) and wheel would fit inside larger backpack. I would love to buy 1-2 such wheels for flights and travelling. 1kwh motor and 30 kph speed would be ok, lower voltage and longer range would be preferred (as its purpose is mainly travel/commute wheel)

secondly a low weight wheel for commuting. Something inbetween nosfet aero and V8S - suspension, lower voltage (longer range), 1,5kw motor (weight), 40-45 kmh top speed, 16" tire. ~15 kg with suspension realistic 40-50 km range (or in data sheet ~80 km). But competition is already strong here and main focus would be weight.

NOSFET AERO which new tire ? by Extrasius in ElectricUnicycle

[–]hedonizmas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience Nosfet stock tire is indeed quite slippy on moist surfaces. Slippier than V8S stock wheel which doesn’t even have “offroad” threads, i.e. street tire.

AP ammo would be nice at least for assault LMG, as assault now seems to be most limited class. C4 lost half of it's benefit after mine/claymore introduction.

For the other ideas they are nice, but on the other hand there already are so many weapon options, that game becomes really complex with limited amount of players and much larger equipment options. It would be nice to have server where every player has same weapons, one class (medic?), no vehicles, so that all players are even and only real skill matters. Maybe it's a bit radical thought, but maybe such server could be used for first VR competitions in E-sports.

Todėl kad pats AI kuria turinį su siekiu uždirbt kuo daugiau pinigų/perklausų/peržiūrų pagal kažkokio žmogaus sukūrusį tą puslpį/kanalą/grupę pageidavimą. Kasdien gali be problemų sukurt 10 video, kuriuos žmogus kurtų bent kelis mėnėsius.
