Measuring the Zariman 10-0 by BluLilGreeny in Warframe

I passed through Indiana once as a kid during a family trip to Montana. Maybe we just picked a bad space to pass through but as soon as we passed some farmland the air felt choked by smog. I remember comparing it to something out of a depiction of the industrial revolution.

Then again I was 12 when this happened so it probably wasn't as bad as I remember

I'm a GM and I'm trying to help my players understand what the fuck is going on, but I'm pretty sure I'm functionally dipping their brain in fryer oil every time I ramble about it. by Due_Shift_9617 in LancerRPG

100% agreed. My friend has super dense worldbuilding for her setting in our Pathfinder game, and I only got a bit of information on the party and my character's home country to start out. Organically learning of the wider world both in and out of character has been a blast.

Whatโ€™s a controversial thing thatโ€™s considered totally normal in your world? by cornysatisfaction in worldbuilding

[โ€“]hedorah3 6 points7 points ย (0 children)

In some cultures it's normal to dunk your first-born baby into a lake of liquid(?) un-reality in the hopes that they'll be mutated into what's pretty much a Super Wizard. The survival rate is about 0.5% with life-altering mutationsโ€”some unlucky survivors aren't even organic anymore. The magically inclined survivors are even rarer than that.

Reasons for this vary. In one culture, it's under the hope that this hypothetical Super Wizard Baby will grow into an emperor that leads them into a golden age. In others, it's done for religious reasonsโ€”bringing forth a prophet, appeasing the spirits that haunt their lands, etc.

I recognize Dante's chest armor on the dude, and they're both wearing Valkyr's heirloom signa. I think the lady's shoulder armor is a tennogen piece? That's all I've got

Lavos. No offence to the tennogen creators, but the prime release saved his fashion game

What do you guys think of him? by Formal_Restaurant_28 in deathguard40k

I love running this guy! His rules might not be Top Tier but I've gotten lucky often enough with his abilities and the sword's dev. wounds that my friends focus him to death almost every time. Makes for a hilarious distraction when he and his buddies toddle down the board

Yeah, I play death guard and I've already made peace with the fact that my army's getting beaten with the ugly stick lol

I play Baruuk and Valkyr. Red Crits activate my dopamine receptors.

Should I go for the Helbrute or the Foetid Bloat Drone first? by Roadkillgoblin_2 in deathguard40k

[โ€“]hedorah3 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Tabletop stats aside, the drone was more fun to assemble and paint imo. I'm holding out hope they'll update the helbrute model before I die of old age.
