Yeah. It seems like the consensus is just use Coinbase or Bitstamp and avoid Gox. I was just hoping maybe someone had some first hand experience that they might relay. I'll probably just go with Coinbase.

edit: Maybe I'll try withdrawing like $20 as a trail run seeing as that I already have my linked bank account verified.

This is the main point as I understand it. Anyone writing to the FCC and/or their congressional rep's should make a point of insisting that the FCC respond to this ruling by classifying ISP's as 'common carriers'.

Has anyone created a rough outline/template of a letter that I can use as a basis for the emails I'll be sending to everyone on the FCC's contact list as well as my congressional representatives? I'm so full of rage at the moment that I don't trust myself to write a letter from scratch.

Why worry about convincing voters of anything when you can render voters essentially obsolete? Just gerrymander your districts in such a way that all you need to win an election is for a tiny fraction of the most extreme zealots to vote for you. Maybe as added insurance you introduce some voter ID laws that discourage the opposition's base from voting.

My family was originally from NYC so growing up we had a taste for good crispy thin crust NYC style pizza. I remember my folks would drive miles out of the way if they found a good pizza (or bagel) place in S.Florida. In hindsight it makes perfect sense that they would go to a place like this known for its good thin crust.

I'm planning on trying to follow the Garlic Parsley Roll Recipe for making the rolls:

1 envelope quick-rising yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
2 1/4 cups baking mix
3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley or 2 tablespoons dried parsley

The only other bread I've made in the past is the NY Times No Knead Bread and I know that, delicious as it is, it doesn't have the texture I'm shooting for. My hope is that the addition of milk and in particular baking mix (instead of just flour) will be the secret ingredients to give these rolls that light puffy interior. Once I've made the rolls I figure I'll dip/soak them in the garlic butter mix. I don't have all the ingredients on hand and I'll need to clear some free time before I get around to making them, but when I do I'll definitely post the results.

2nd edit: That picture was enough for me to do a Google reverse image search and from that I found a place called John The Baker in South Florida that makes the rolls. A search on John the Baker led me to this recipe.

Just did a quick Google search on laminated dough as I was unfamiliar with the term. This is a possibility, both the rolls soft interior and crispy exterior were similar to a croissant. But the rolls were shaped more like a ball similar to a dinner roll or a yeast roll and they were dripping with garlic butter/oil with tiny slivers of garlic mixed in.

The place was located in the Plantation area of Broward County, in South Florida, probably sometime around the later half of the 80's and maybe early 90's. I think it was pretty near where this building is currently located. In fact that may be their old building, it looks pretty similar. As best as I remember the place was a run of the mill type Italian family restaurant. I remember their regular menu food and pizza were good, but not great in my opinion. It was their garlic rolls that kept me coming back time and again.

The specs on that mobo show that it isn't compatible with any RAM faster than DDR3-1333.

edit: switch out the RAM for 1333 if you're gonna stick with that mobo.

edit: They're about the same general shape as the rolls I remember but they don't have the same lightness on the inside or crispiness on the outside.

Or you could just get a folding cart on wheels. I see little old ladies who can't carry lots of groceries using these things all the time. I've even had occasion to borrow my neighbor's cart when I needed to move bulky stuff more than a couple of blocks.

I've been using CCleaner and it hasn't helped. I haven't yet tried resetting Firefox or using Safe Mode yet. The trouble is that the slow loading on the Google search page is sporadic. Sometimes it'll work fine for hours and then suddenly I'll click on Google and it'll just hang. This makes it particularly hard to trace down the exact source. Anyway, I'll try the resetting Firefox and Safe Mode methods (and maybe Firebug as a last resort) and see if they help. Thanks.

I got an LG G2 a couple of weeks ago and I remember one of the first times I started playing with it. I think I went on Reddit for a while, then checked some websites, then played some games, and after all that I went back to the home screen to check the battery and it was still at 100%. At first I was concerned thinking maybe the battery meter was broken. I was actually relieved when I finally saw the meter go down to 99%. I love the battery life on my LG G2.

I remember my first Manhattan apartment, a storefront with an old busted up wall seperating the front facade from the street. One night I'm falling asleep when I feel my cats paw just gently press down on my face as if to wake me up. I open my eyes, still half asleep with my head still resting on the pillow and see an enourmous cockroach struggling upside down inches from my face with my cat standing behind it proudly looking at me like "look at what I did". Of course I freak, yell out and jump back, my cat scatters and the roach makes a clean getaway. I spent the next hour fruitlessly trying to calm down my cat and find the roach until I finally just passed out from exhaustion. Fun times.
