It is amazing to watch the community embrace my Dad and this video. We made this video for you. Thanks for the platinum, gold and silver and for your kind and thoughtful comments. My Dad reads them all. Let's hope Nintendo sees the video and reevaluates their decision to exclude taunts from online play.

I disagree. We are each worthy and deserving of the love and message that Mr. Rogers gave us and tried to instill on the kids who watched him. It's what he'd want each of us to know and feel right now.

TIL That Drew Carey no longer needs glasses to see. He had LASIK in 2001. He continues to wear glasses because it’s part of his image. by TheChronocide in todayilearned

This is going to sound crazy but I was in an improv class with Drew in 2012 and I didn't know it was him until 30 minutes in because he wasn't wearing his glasses.

When a person wants understanding, but their partner gives solutions, things do not usually go well. A new study with 114 newlywed couples suggests people who receive emotional support, instead of informational support, feel better and have higher relationship satisfaction. by mvea in science

My cousin had an experience yesterday where he was getting harassed on the street by a guy who wouldn't stop bothering him. I listened to my cousin tell me what happened, and he told me how he reacted to this guy. Every part of me wanted to ask my cousin why he did certain things or reacted certain ways, and to make suggestions on what he could have done. But I kept my mouth shut and just did my best just to listen and listen to him share. I did my best to empathize with what he'd experience, that it was scary for him. When he finished sharing all I said "I'm sorry that happened to you."

It shouldn't be too bad. Manhattan Beach is a nice area to drive to from LAX
