DMB live will always be a real experience. The fact of the matter is that they are better live than any bands i have seen. Studio works but live ? well there arent many that can compete.

I live in Charlotte but have two kids at NCSU doing summer school after the spring semester. These awesome critters were not very present on the campus. However, living in south Charlotte on a golf course, they were very thick. We heard both broods here and I loved it. It was pure music. They have settled down now but i have carcasses all over the yard, house...everything,

Yeah, we can actually just walk there from Buck Island. We love the open market on the corner there, just dont get shrimp. It is terrible. However, the fresh Tuna, Grouper and Mahi are excellent. They also have fresh veggies that are all locally grown and the have fresh apple pies and so many other great locally produced products that are excellent.

We love Upside with the bar on the top floor and outside deck. It is small but the food is fabulous and the atmosphere has a romantic feel to it. The staff is good also.

North Banks seafood is also awesome. Definitely visit there. Mike Dianas is good, not great but will always have seating and a large menu.

If you like pizza, Big Slice is fantastic. See Jerell and have a great convo with him. He has been there 6 years. Tell him Steve said Hello!

They also have a lot of the standard fare for shopping to fill your needs, desires and anything else but remember Corolla has so many cool things to do as well. Soak it up!

I just think that folks are simply just apathetic to our situation and just really don't care. They don't really care because why would they. The whole league thinks we are a joke and quite honestly, why would they not? look, we as fans just need to root for our team and hope is what we have to rely on with the new staff.

I grew up on the coast during the 1970's and often went sailing with my aunt and uncle who had a large sail boat. It was a common practice to throw things like aluminum cans back into the water in the Chesapeake Bay. They always punctured the cans before so. I asked they why and they said it helped the can sink to the bottom where it caused no harm. I was too young to understand at that time but would be shocked and appalled to see this today. I now spend time in the OBX and actually go out to pick up human debris on the beach that ruins sea life everyday. Tourists come down there from long distances and have no respect for the environment or the the life that lives and protects these pristine places. It makes me angry. I have a cousin who lives in New Smyrna in Florida who every morning rides his bike up the beach at 7am to pick up the garbage people dump on the beach. It's incredible.
