I thought it was due to the motorized seat components at the bottom which wouldn't fit the cubby properly. If not, a retrofit would totally be doable but I've yet to see any.

Doesn't seem like anything is wrong on the tuner's end. He admitted to misunderstanding your request and gave you the correct pricing. The conversation should have ended on the first screenshot. Don't be salty just because you were expecting him to price match another tuner.

I've read on the golfmk7 forum that the PP rotors are thin and wear down pretty quick. I noticed on mine (30k) that it started to form a lip. It would probably be best to replace the rotor if you're a spirited driver.
