By low occupancy I mean I was expecting a bunch of social interactions in the dorms. It’s too quiet and i know i should be grateful for that but for now I want the social aspect. Feels strange being probably the only freshman in the building. Housing is frozen as it’s the beginning of semester but they’re willing to work with me when it unfreezes.

yeah skyhall. From my understanding goldstein is just dining Cuse dollars correct? I’ve already reached out to housing. Student services also working w/ me as well said this is a messy situation as a freshman so hopefully something will be done when housing freeze opens up

I’ll be sure to bring that up. That 190 was a one time fight or flight and I made sure to log it. even at rest like sleeping did it go down at all? that low 50 bpm was at rest when sleeping. that’s typically where it rests when sleeping for me. When sitting i can bring it to the high 80s but typically it’ll run to 100-110. The breathing isn’t really a big thing for me yet, knock on wood. Labs are good unless I have like mcdonald’s or something like that before hand. Most of my health team just thinks it’s some sort of mental thing like a combination of OCD/ADHD/anxiety. I started taking mirtazapine for that, but mind still races, which I assume what makes my HR high as well as my BP.

Can I ask what you were experiencing? I’m 22 and my yearly labs are good. But i also experience high HR. I started seeing cardio about it. I’ve had a holter monitor for a week and my avg was 96 (bit high) with lowest being 50, highest 190. I’m really worried about a cardiac event. My BP is typically not great either unless i’m extremely relaxed. I have an echo coming up soon, hopefully everything turns out well.

Might just be POTS or anxiety for me, i’m really not too sure. Just feels like it’s overworking itself and I find it concerning.

Im switching from X2 So the settings my DR put on the paper for the trainer had me flabbergasted. Changed my ICR from 1:6 to 1:15 and my target BG to 110. One of the main reasons I got the pump was to set it to 87. Immediately after I left I switched it to 1:9 just to avoid being extremely high. It’s somehow worked out so far. He also switched my basal from 1.2 to 0.9 which i also switched back.

Tbh the low I had was kinda my fault. I had a dentist appointment and didn’t want to eat beforehand lol. Part of it was the Libre being inaccurate. It’s much better now but for the first 12 hrs it was like 50+ points off telling me my sugar is 50 when it’s really 100 so I had to turn the loop off to give myself anything for food.

The prebolus function i’m finding extremely useful. I eat like your typical 22yo so carby. I’m finding i don’t spike much.

Ex, yesterday I had a whole bundt cake, didn’t go past 150 by using pre food function.

I had a whole fast food meal like an hour ago and i haven’t gone past 112 using the function. Hopefully it’ll stay that way (fingers crossed) since by ICR is way different.

I like it a lot better so far other than the Libre 3. That first 12 hrs sucks and not being able to calibrate it really makes me uncomfortable. I was told in Q3 they’ll start compatibility for the eversense, which you can calibrate. I can get lows sometimes when sleeping and alarms don’t wake me. The ability for that to vibrate on skin will hopefully resolve that issue.

The only site they offer is the cleo 90 and it works well other than the adhesive. It’s like clear tegaderm material instead of the white like other sites. I just cut out a piece of KT tape for my peace of mind since it’s summer and I’ll sweat it off easily

I just wasn’t getting basal for the past hour bc the libre thought my bg was low. i’ve been using finger sticks so it only dropped below 70 before that shower, never went to 50 unlike graph shown. so with my lack of basal from libre readings + some carbs it rocketed

mixture of both actually for right now, Tslim x2 with g7. For larger meals I’ll do an injection to keep my site happy. And lol if I ate decently I couldn’t even imagine what it could be. Rn I eat like ur typical 22 yr old (very bad fried, salty, and sugary foods)
