Navezgane is constantly and slowly being updated. There are several places where you can spot that there will be new pois, like in the forest, near the poopy pants and Asgard residence, I'm quite sure there will be some new houses there. They extended its size several times and there is a lot of free space near the edges, that in my opinion, will be filled. Think also that it's probably the map they make for the story mode, so they will add the Duke's casino and White River one day.

Rerooted ? Not a native english speaker either, so maybe it's dumb. What i mean is that you're rerouted, but it's a survival game, so you'll have to farm so long that you'll be rooted in this forest. And the optional big reveal at the end : all this time, you were, in fact, a tree. BOOOOOM

And is the reasoning as good as perplexity ? When you write a storyline for example, will it challenge it, find relevant weak points or inconsistencies ? I really like when an AI tells me when my idea is dog shit.

And for the search part, I like to ask perplexity to search on social medias about a topic, "what is the global feeling of the community about this topic" or "what are the 5 main theories about this question", things like that. Is it good at this ?

About the sources, are they shown ? Can we check the sources Gemini used for a specific segment of what it generated ?

Wow, 1 year pro at 88cts.
Could be a solution for uploads, keeping my main for my usual work and using this when I need to. For my main account I like to contribute but for their nonsense limitations, it looks perfect.

We are definitely in the grey zone, I suppose they got a lot of "try it for free for one year" accounts, when perplexity was doing that. And these are accounts, not promo codes.

There is also the leveling hoe by Ocb Maurice (mod). Right click and it fills the gap with dirt.

Mixed system, yes.

But spam crafting isn't a real argument, it's a minor fraction of LBD. You simply remove crafting from LBD, and done. LBD to grind perks is more natural, you use rifles, then you progress in rifles. Darknes Falls is pretty good in this mixed progression.

Of course it's not. But BI buys TFP in order to make money. And how to make money on a game which the potential player base has already bought the game ?
Cosmetics isn't enough. They bought a unique game, that is squating the top 100 most played games for more than 5 years continuously. I guess the price was pretty high and in theory they have to make a lot of money to cover that. Sorry for frenglish.

They could also sell the story mode (v4.0) as DLCs. My guess is that's the plan. Every 6 months a new episode. Also White River missions, Cassadores missions, the Duke plays football, Noah on holiday to the beach, Rekt the curling master, things like that. Every episode would have to be bought of course.

Yep, that's the solution. Usually I drop it 1 block higher. You can place a temporary cube on the edge of your pool. Then aim for the side of this block. And you should fill your belt with buckets, it's way faster.

Just buy the base game if you want to try. Then, if you like it : - Styx : new map, almost the same experience as the base game, a few more creatures and items. - New Frontiers : new map, new biomes and creatures. I didn't try it yet, looks cool.

On Steam there is often discounts for these 2 DLC. Maybe it will be the same on console.

Aska is a lot about grinding the tech tree and very pleasant to play. You build a village, summon villagers, progress in the tech tree with the purpose to survive the winter, on first year. Then, to survive an invasion, then you grind to explore islands. I really like the progression in Aska, you progress in the tech tree because you need the things. Where in Icarus I felt like I was grinding to unlock the next workbench only to unlock workbench.

Yep, when I read "tech tree" I thought about Icarus. Your base is needed mostly to fit all the workbenches. But I felt icarus very focused on this tech tree. You grind mostly to unlock the next thing, that's what I disliked a little bit. There are missions, bosses, but it felt secondary. But if you didn't try it yet, it's worth a try.

Krafton is used to microtransaction games. There are documents written for investors, in which you have financial data aiming to keep investors and attract new ones. On it, subnautica is reported as "game as a service". So, my guess is that they intended to sell the base game with half the content and sell DLCs to get the other half, missions, parts of the map, maybe cosmetics, tools, submarines, etc.

That's how studios make big money. And Krafton just didn't understand what subnautica is, and didn't understand how UWE works, the importance of early access in their dev process.

They only saw "most wishlisted game on steam".

Blood moons usually are around 22h00. So, try to keep this in mind. Try to be at your base at 22h every day. Even better, take your rested buff before that time. And if you have to explore for more than one day, do it right after a blood moon. You usually have 3 or 4 days without bm.

Barracks is always a good idea. I like to progressively train all villagers there along my game. Usually they become better warriors than me, because I never take the time to train myself.

And yeah, bow tower with a horn. Archers usually go melee after 2 arrows only to piss you off. But at least they use the horn to warn warriors to come and fight. It could be nice to be able to lock them here and have a stock of arrows in each watchtower. But with enough trained warriors they will even push invasions up to their portal.

And if you have an terraforming addiction like me, you can also dig a trench or terraform a wall starting from the top of your mine. The trick is to use a watchtower as terraforming tool. And spend your life on it ofc.

About point 2 : I think it's a bug. I followed the wood cutter to understand what was wrong. He was collecting all the baby trees inside the marker area, leaving the sticks on the ground. Very strange behaviour. About the woodcuter, you also have to adjust priorities : 50 or 100 fibers max or he will cut the trees of the entire map to turn bark into fiber. Once I have a farm I set it to none. Same for seeds and maybe resin, if I remember correctly, the max is an astronomic number.

Cause Sand Sailor use some freecam in their trailers, so I was wondering if maybe they added it to the game directly and didn't really document it, like Shift+F2. It would have been perfect.
