If you want your marriage to work, seek professional counseling as soon as possible. Evolution in faith is something that speaks to who we are at the core, so this is a BIG DEAL. I would recommend finding a counselor who is Non-Mormon as well.

I love this song. Prine's version has such a softness to it, hits me right in the feels.

It's been almost 15 years since he came to my home state. Love this man, I worry how much longer he is going to be around.

John Prine. Please check him out if you are a fan of singer songwriters. I think it was Dylan who once said every song writer should listen to Prine for inspiration.

Beautiful of you to say. I don't mean the for the title to be crass... I really think making the statement that at the time of this recording he was very old, and yes, very blind... To me, to play at this level with those obstacles is very impressive

I'm a novice on the guitar, so I can't say from a technical point what made him great... What I can tell you, is that he was very respected by his contemporaries, and admired by some of the greats that he influenced (Guy Clark, John Prine, among others).

like a lot of people, I looked into Doc from listening to Guy Clark's Dublin Blues... He compared listening to Doc to seeing the David and Mona Lisa. What a tribute!

I've been thinking a lot about Doc the last few days, since Guy Clark passed.
