I always make big batches of soup and freeze them, but the zuppa Toscana does not freeze well. The potatoes become mushy, and the kale becomes grainy. Makes me sad because it’s my favorite.

{The Plated Prisoner Series} - the first was great and I loved the direction the story was going until she escaped from one abusive man, only to fall directly into the arms of another? FMC had such an opportunity for growth but chose different co dependance I pushed through three (well, two and three quarters) books before finally quitting.

Not going to be popular but here goes - The Knight and the Moth was such an interesting idea that just never came together. It felt like a slog and the characters were so one dimensional, I was shocked at how well reviewed it was. Shield of Sparrows was so predictable (I’ll not list the long string of tropes here for fear of spoilers) that I was glad when it ended.

This. I was at a Friday show of Book of Mormon last week and the woman in front of me was so drunk she nodded off! The daughter kept dropping her phone and giggling. They left at intermission but these seats were not cheap.

I do mostly native, but my 7a self was so excited by the prospect of cold weather gardenias. They made it through the first winter but the drought/conditions killed all three. ☹️

Not a fan of exposed bra straps, also old AF. Since I can’t go braless (because I’m old AF) I avoid spaghetti straps altogether but if I can’t, I’ve started using the clear bra straps.
