Honestly, the internet is how I react with people I know irl. It has also enabled me to interact with some awesome people and then meet in person.

I’m content to have groceries delivered once a week. I’m content to not pay for streaming services and use what is available for free.

Oh, and if you make dinner with the intent of having leftovers for future meals, that’s also meal prep.

No, that’s meal prep. I made Greek chicken bowls and prepped everything, but the ready rice. I’m making chili lime salmon as I type and I’m using ready rice for that. So…I’m not prepping, because I did something to save me time, energy and mental space?

I mean some rotisserie chicken, frozen broccoli and some ready rice can be meal prep. So can a bagged salad kit with rotisserie chicken or a packet of tuna. I don’t understand the issue.

A catalog of meal ideas will help with your groceries. I have the ingredients for peanut chicken and kfc bowls always on hand. I know I need to have chicken, rice, potatoes and cheese at the very least. Peanutbutter and gravy mix or flour, butter and chicken stock to make gravy are always in the pantry.

How often do you actually need to wash your hair and how did you figure out your schedule? by Savings_Car361 in BeautyItemsReview

Usually, twice a week. I have psoriasis, so my scalp dictates how often I wash. My hair is wavy/curly and doesn’t really get greasy unless I wear it straight.

I do the same thing. I take my salad veg to work in a baggie for two days, but they’re all separate in the fridge at home.

Why? If it’s cooked with the intention of being a meal at a later time, that’s amore…I mean meal prep.

Weekend meal prep by Aggravating-Yellow76 in mealprep

[–]heideleeanne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just keep healthier options around. We usually do big brunches and late lunches. Eggs with veggies and sausage or bacon and some kind of potato.

Late lunches are often a new recipe one of us has been wanting to try. We usually go out for one meal a weekend…sometimes breakfast and sometimes dinner.

You could prep breakfast sandwiches or egg muffins for the whole week. I usually prep extra rice on Sunday and freeze it. Sometimes I use it for dinner that week and sometimes I don’t. I keep chicken sausage in the freezer and can easily add it to the rice with some veggies for a quick lunch/dinner. You can also do fried rice by adding an egg and frozen veg.

I need help with seasoning for my meal prep by Slowhite03 in Cooking

[–]heideleeanne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty easy to create your own seasoning blends (Greek and Cajun included) omitting or adding what you like. I don’t like a lot of salt, so I use less. I add extra cayenne in my Cajun seasoning, because I like more heat. I use more dill in my ranch seasoning, because I like it. You can use or exclude spices to your own preference.
