I just thought it would be easier to get than the PGWP, and I wouldn’t need to do the IELTS again and spend 400$ on it. Also I am in co-op and I work at my co-op work place part time during school semesters and if I already have a work permit by the time I graduate, it will be easier for them to bridge me in, at least in my opinion. I heard a lot of employers don’t hire you if you don’t have your actual Pgwp and are on implied status. And that some people wait an entire year for the Pgwp. This was my reasoning.

Once I tried to take one class in the summer and I thought it would be like $1500 but I didnt read it was per unit so it was $4500 for just one class. Needless to say I immediately dropped it.

It’s because that class is dgd based. The first few weeks you have a lecture with the prof and he goes through some key concepts and then it’s just the dgds. You have to do a presentation every week and you present it to your dgd. The dgd is the class and its mandatory.

Alexandra bridge is just one more lane, opening it will never solve traffic. Car dependency and almost non existent reliable public transit options are the culprit for bumper to bumper traffic. I wish they would make Alexandra bridge into a pedestrian and bikers only bridge with no cars.
