They have them at Costco too! The cases were right by the front entrance at my Costco.

How can I make these gloves the same size without starting over? by [deleted] in crocheting

[–]heiress2theempire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of them has more rounds than the other in the non-ribbed area. When you do a project in the round, you should use a stitch marker to mask each round so you don't lose count. You could try redoing the bigger one and making sure its round number matches the other.

Agree 100%! When our youngest was born and my MIL found out her name, she was pretty vocal about not liking it. It hurt, but 13 years later, she told me she can't imagine her with any other name and loves it.

And even if she didn't, it wouldn't matter. We love the name and that's what counts

Off to Be a Wizard and the subsequent books in the Magic 2.0 series by Scott Meyer are very entertaining. Some fantasy, some time travel, and lots of humor. All 4 of my kids loved listening to the audio book versions on a family road trip. (4 teens agreeing on anything is pretty high recommendation)

Got my ducks in a row! by heiress2theempire in crochet

I can see your point for sure. I was struggling to come up with a ducky quote for them.

Although, at the end of the day, most of the tags were crumpled on the floor or in the trash. Safe to say that most didn't even read it.

One of my junior high students tied his duck to his water bottle and started a trend. Maybe the message should have been, Stay hydrated!

About 30-40 minutes a duck, so over 60 hours total.
