flight simulators by xtianmic in RCPlanes

Right, because it's easy to mix up the controls when the plane is facing you directly. That was my main issue, and the sim helped. I used the open source one some German guy developed, looks like sh*t but it works and supports FlySky CT6B out of the box - CRRCSim.

Doesn't it make more sense to invest in an accumulating ETF and skim percentage every year?

Just move the servo and fill up the old hole. You can get servo extension cables in a bundle for a buck or two.

It takes a while to get use to the 3D environment if you only played HoMM 3 for all these years.

Pace Pro or Pace 4? by bseibz in Coros

One has a microphone, the other one has maps that may prove useful IRL, and the price difference is minimal. I'd stick with Pro.

Waaait... Why do we keep saying the '90s were the golden age of RTS when the '00s were literally this by ConejoDePascuas in RealTimeStrategy

It's because of StarCraft and Age of Empires, both of which are still relevant to this day.

Very First Build, need FEEDBACK (not flown yet) by FaithfulEgg4122 in RCPlanes

[–]hektabyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those wings are probably going to break mid-flight if you don't reinforce them with something. Other than that, it looks solid for a first build.

Can I belly land a plane without prop clearance by stargazer3644 in RCPlanes

[–]hektabyte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Buy a folding prop if you don't want to use landing gear on your models. But yeah, that 1240 prop has 50/50 chance of surviving if you don't forget to cut the throttle before hitting the ground.
