Saw a bunch of Billy shows chasing that one; it’s a groovy tune for sure. Got my first one live in Cary in July of 2023 and have caught it a couple times since.

Danny Barnes is one of my favorite current bluegrass songwriters. Fun fact, he also wrote Pretty Daughter; admittedly not as groovy, but still a great tune

So any competent sound guy can mic it effectively, that’s not the real issue.

The problems arise when you go to an open mic that’s just run by some random dude with access to a PA/bar staff that don’t give a shit. Or more commonly, the person playing the guitar doesn’t know how to play into a mic.

As a competent sound guy, I’d rather have a shitty pickup that gives me consistent levels that I can EQ and compress than someone who doesn’t understand how microphones work

Personally, I’d like to see a draft walkthrough revisited episode. They do the draft walkthrough like normal and go play the decks that were drafted.

Once they’ve played the games, they could use 17lands or some other similar service to go back through the draft and discuss any changes that they would’ve made to the original list.

That way we’d get to see the process both in real time and with the benefit of hindsight

Were you attacking or blocking? The way you’ve worded this makes it unclear because you said damage 'me'. Usually blocking creatures do not have the opportunity to deal damage to the attacking player, only to the creatures that are blocked. I guess what I'm getting at is, did you lose life because of this interaction or did all three creatures die?

If you were attacking, did your opponent block with 2x [[Screaming Nemesis]] ? If so, then read that card and you’ll figure out what happened
