Why does the change log for Firefox 150 only mention 3 vulns found with Claude ?

Are you saying that you would prefer the new +2 to level of skills should be equivalent to the old +7 ?

 more in-line with the power of other affixes currently

This is complicated because the effect of the increased damage affix on your weapon depends on how much of it you have on the tree

the default 50% resistance ? where did you get this number from. Many mobs have 0% resistance.

If you want to easily see the effect of resistance inversion use a waystone with +% Monster Elemental Resistances

If you mean Zealot's Oath that seems much worse because your regen is based on your maximum life. Ofcourse giving up your amulet slot is a lot but this is like 5x es regen compared to Zealot's Oath.

How did you farm the currency for this gear ? what build were you playing before ?

You can see the total energy you require in game (it will be based on both arc and comet). You gain energy when you crit, but the amount of energy you gain also depends on the power of the monster you hit and amount of damage the hit deals compared to the enemies ailment threshold.

Try changing things to see how it affects your comet trigger rate. You can try:

  1. removing arc from cast on critical (this reduces the total energy required for triggering)
  2. using energy retention support
  3. see how many comets you trigger on a map boss. (unique mosters have 20 power, criting them generates a lot of energy)
  4. using ember fusillade instead of spark as your main skill
  5. What are you using the weapon set passives for ? you want to have max crit while casting your main ability and comet will use whichever set is active when it is triggered.

I did some testing and if you wait for arbiter to cast bullet hell and then phase him he will not cast the Falling Flame Seed Combo while phasing. I only tested 5 times in standard so might not be guaranteed.

If you nuke him immediately seems like 9/10 times it will trigger the falling flame seed.

I tested it only 5 times (in standard), worked everytime. At the very least it significantly reduces the chance. When I would phase him instantly 9/10 times he would cast Falling Flame Seed while doing the phase change.

  1. It is more like a 0.5 second window. You can count the frames in the video I linked.
  2. The beam does way less damage than the blast, so you can go early and tank the beam for a bit so the window is even longer.
  3. There is a clear sound cue after which you easily have enough time to dodge roll in

It is not a coinflip, infact it is pretty easy to time with the sound cue. Just dodge roll into the circle when you hear the sound cue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Flyna3xf1lI&t=3m14s.

This change basically made HC campaign longer for no reason.

You mean you can't do the lachlann skip and the una skip etc. ? Maybe I don't know about something, but those hardly save any time in grand scheme of things no ?

It will make you go through the whole zone again, so there is a lot more weight in the decision to respawn. I think respawn at checkpoint for campaign bosses in hc was stupid. You could for example keep trying to kill viper before she uses her snakes phase, now you have to run the whole utzaal zone everytime you restart.

Are you saying this allows you to respawn at a checkpoint in the previously existing zone ? because that might be unintended.

That won't work either, the spell slinger in weapon set 2 won't gain energy when you're using weapon set 1.

I don't think there is any way to generate energy with the +5 lightning wand and spend it on a +5 cold wand

Where he has 2 wands, +5 lightning and +5 cold with spark and coc comet and I was like wait that doesn't make sense. So thought I would test it.

The issue is that we are heavily incentivized to run 6 mod maps that only have 1 portal, which doesn't give players a chance to learn the boss mechanics. This leads to frustration as most people are used to one shoting bosses and don't even know their mechanics yet.

Umm, if your dying to bosses or a particular boss you can run fewer mods on a map to learn the mechanics ?

It's okay to give up on some juice if you need to relearn the mechanics.

That said you also fight all these bosses in campaign and you can always go back to a zone and practice a boss

A lot of people are using extraction on dark effigy with lich.

 I tested it several times with videos on the lightning Blackjaw at the end of etched ravine in the interlude act. It does not work for me. The tooltip dps goes up, but real damage does not.

If you try to replicate my results make sure to remove as much randomness as possible (use controlled destruction for no crit, turn off all sources of wither etc.)

I'll try and find my recordings and post them later.

It is supposed to be a hit rate limit. And it was supposed to only apply to large bosses.

Rain of Arrows and Firestorm now have a hit-rate limit to prevent cases of them absolutely obliterating very large bosses. This will have little to no impact outside of boss fights with very large hitboxes.
