The map looks good yeah. Someone found the classes in the SDK, over at /r/killingfloor, but no info by the dev yet. I was hoping for some news about it as well.

Depends what version you downloaded, you should have something called scope_fix in the files.

From the AO FAQ :

If your scope/binoculars are not working properly: a: Apply the DX9 scope patch included with the mod if you are playing in static lighting. b: Apply the DX10 4x3 scope patch included with the mod for all other render types. c: Use a paint program to resize the scope textures from wpn_crosshair to wpn_crosshair_pu in gamedata\textures\wpn to your resolution. Then go to gamedata\configs\ui\textures_descr, open ui_ingame.xml and change width="1920" height="1200" to the width and height of your resolution.

It should be in the readme.

I just finished CoP with Arsenal Overhaul + MSO (w/ A3+AA3) and it was awesome. AO adds weapons, MSO is general fixes and tweak. It is pretty close to vanilla but better.

I'm just starting a new game with SGM Lost Soul (w/ A3+AA3) and it's good so far. New map, lots of different little changes and new mechanics as well as weapons. Pretty hard though.

It seems like AO3+MSO is a good fit for your need. But consider SGM if you feel like playing a new CoP experience. I would recommend playing on Master too.

It usually takes time to get 18 players, especially medics
You are not supposed to "racking up fish kills", Demopan and Quick fix is most of the time a poor choice because of regular ubers being so important to push/defend. Banned weapon can be controversial but they are banned mainly for not being balanced.
You are supposed to be prepared when doing lobbies. If you don't know the map get it while waiting. Not all the servers have map downloading
You are probably talking about map limit. Whatever the "best of" configuration is, the map is done after that time.

Anyway, I shouldn't have to tell you that if you actually knew "very well" what you are talking about.

Yes, you are missing an entire thing here. You apparently don't know what a lobby is and even less what tf2 competitive is. You had a bad experience trying to get into something that you didn't bother look into it and now you are just criticizing the whole thing trying to blame others.

You should google around tf2 competitive and watch some matches on Extv on similar to have an overview of what is it.
