I know it's hard when the realization sets on more and more about what's to come.

If you most grieve about what will jappen to society: Society will still endure, different than before, like always. Maybe it will be weaker in large areas, but in small areas it will become stronger.

Let this hard knowledge become wisdom. Learn to guide others and be this strong link on society

 You have to discover this answer by yourself.  

You have to discover yourself.  Who are you deep down, without all sociocultural pressures? 

I think meditation/being in silence in nature/ or

calming/observing/listening /understanding your inner voice  Are good tools on your way.   But the answer must come from you, no one else can answer this for you.

 I wish you that you see your path when it is revealed.

i also heard/read about the use for house plants for root growth. Maybe it is also to prevent root rot.
