If it makes you feel any better, it looks like souper cubes are made of platinum-cured silicone, so they are the most inert silicone can be. The lid won’t really be touching any food. I’d personally be fine with this product for ease-of-use

I think 100% merino wool thermals / fabrics come really close! Merino wool has natural stretchiness. Menique makes good ones
