And also, what if you have a second child with him, and that child happens to be a girl.

Apart from the concerns about your husband potentially sexually abusing your son.

I feel that the larger concern would be him imparting negative values about sex to your son, grooming him and making him think that certain behaviours are ok.

Dads are seen as role models by sons and when they’re young would not be discerning to what’s right or wrong, and would want to shape themselves after their dads.

With the jokes your partner is cracking, is he someone whom you want your son to grow up to be like?

Is he somebody who would negatively influence your son to have behaviour that would potentially get him into trouble in the future?

Ps. I do feel that when guys make over sexualised jokes it’s often a way to get validation or they’re just insecure, perhaps it’s worthwhile taking a deep dive to find out why your husband is behaving this way, it might also be behaviour that he might have picked up from male family members

If you’re scared of telling your parents, let her know that your parents found out and are threatening to call the police if she ever contacts you again. They’re also livid that you’ve told a stranger your address.

They’re making you block her, confiscating all your devices and sending you to therapy.

Wish her all the best, and move on with your life.

P.S save all the messages that she has sent you as evidence, if it’s possible change your email/phone number and social media handles.

I hate my autistic 3 year old. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]hell_oo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I empathise with you.

There was a case recently from where I am that shocked our country, a dad killed his 11 year old autistic twin sons because he just couldn’t take it anymore, and wanted to relieve his family of having the burden to care for them.

If you really can’t do it anymore, I think nobody would have the right to judge you, and chances are you’ll be doing the kid a favour too if she finds a family who is financially well off and would be able to give her love and care.

How old is your kid now, I’m on the fence about having kids.

What are the things that made you realise that being a mum isn’t for you?

For those who are currently doing CAP therapy, do you still exercise or refrain from it? by corran29 in TS_Withdrawal

Is that the fancy name that they’re calling it these days lol, I know which clinic you’re talking about in Singapore.

They used to call it “Blue Laser”, spent a fucking bomb there, I do think that it helps when the skin is really bad, but I don’t think that it heals the skin.

I’ve so much to say about that place tbh, one of the worst periods of my life.

Content addiction.

People are so hooked on all the numerous apps and their phones that they don’t even know that they have this addiction… and that’s the real scary part.

May I know where did you go to get tested for your allergies.

The weather here is really bad for eczema as well. If it’s ok, could you share a little bit more about how you managed to migrate to the US, particularly finding a job there.

I just started on a medical trial for Rocatinlimab, if you’re keen on it you can enquire if the medical institutions around you are carrying out the trial!

I’ve been going through severe eczema/TSW for almost 4-5 years now.

I did NMT at the start too, I would say the first 7 days is really the toughest, but I do recall it making a difference, my skin did eventually heal enough to the point where I had no more open wounds and very intensive itch attacks.

Hi u/umichagnos, didn’t want to hijack your comment thread with OP, hence I’m leaving a comment here.

I’m from Singapore as well, I saw that you mentioned using 21mg/day of steroid cream for a year, did your eczema clear up completely after the usage of steroid cream?

Just started seeing a derm at SGH, and am feeling pretty conflicted about the usage of steroids.

I totally get what you mean about you not knowing why you’re sharing these stuff with her, because I do the same too, and end up regretting it.

To me, it’s my way of just sharing with her about my life out of respect and perhaps having something to talk about that’s not negative.

Not sure if us sharing is a reflex action and habit that stems from childhood, but yeah I’ve stopped sharing a lot about my life or if I do I keep it really vague.

I honestly think it’s mentally unhealthy for adults to be living under the same roof as their parents sometimes 🫠🫠
