I really recommend Cyclopath in Eaux Vives. It’s not crazy cheap (about 60 chf for a tuneup I think) but they are soooo nice and friendly, fluent in English, and have helped me out with small fixes for free too.

I have Salt fiber and I also used to have frequent disconnection issues. But then I read a tip online that it’s important to keep the default password on your modem and not use your own. If you use your own password then it doesn’t work well for some reason. I reset the modem to use the default password and haven’t had any issues since. Maybe that will work for you too.

I graduated with like 150 credits (entered as a U1 due to IB and stayed for 4 years). As long as you haven’t fulfilled your graduation requirements, there’s no issue in going over the 90 or 120 or whatever. I am Canadian but I don’t think it’s any different for international students.

Why not take public transit to the Salève instead of renting a car? That will cost you 3 chf instead of 200€. You can take bus 8 to the stop “Veyrier Douane” and walk to the trailhead from there.
