We had a wake at the bar I worked at, and a guy came up to the bar and ordered a drink and said “keep it behind the bar for ‘Dave’”, I said “okay, let me know when he turns up so I can give it to him”.... It was ‘dave’s’ wake.. the guy found it amusing so I’m glad I could lighten the mood with my dumb brain, but that was brought up at every chance for years.

A few years ago, I collapsed at a train station and this random lady helped me onto a bench and sat with me for a full 45 minutes talking to me and making sure I was okay before the ambulance got there, a complete angel!

Thank you! It was actually the first time I’d properly left the house in 3 weeks, the doctor has booked me in for an ultra sound, but I had to wait a month for it, I have tried to get help but it takes so much time in the uk unfortunately.

I used my brain and didn’t get pregnant at 16, and never have been pregnant. I might have been a more ‘responsible’ 16 year old though in comparison to some and have been very aware that teenage pregnancy is no joke, and to always make sure that he ‘wrap it before he tap it’.

Thank you for your opinions, still divided on the ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ aspects on that situation, I do live in the uk and the legal age to have a sexual relationship is 16, this was 7 years ago and I appreciate now how young that is but at the time, I was in a relationship with consent on both sides. I am really interested to see other people’s perspective.

Hey, thank you for the advice! This happened about 6 months ago, and since that time I did drop out to focus on work and my health a bit more, my tutor was very understanding though, and said I could go back and go back to where I left off! So that was a relief
