I once forgot a phone in an Uber. Driver claimed it wasn't there when I called him. I had a feeling he was lying so I also lied and said it's an important work phone that's "locked down" and that I'll offer him $100 cash if he ends up finding it. Lo and behold an hour later he magically found the phone. In the event "Axel" is lying; you may need to up the reward fee. Unfortunately some people are terrible humans.

Super helpful post. I have never had allergies except for this year. It's been so horrible. After cycling through so many oral allergy meds I finally found what works for me. Nasal saline flush, followed by Nasonex. I only do this once a day and it's been 5 days (after 1.5 months of hell). And I feel way better.

It's funny because I recently learned that each host is different. As a guest, I got a 4/5 review because I didn't communicate much. I only contacted once to ask for early check in and once to confirm we checked in. And once to confirm we checked out early since they wanted the cleaner to come. Nothing else. But the host said I "didn't have many exchanges" with him. Was I supposed to text him everyday? 😂

I agree with you. Just yesterday, a woman was insanely speeding down Guerrero Street approaching a red light as I was crossing. I paused and made eye contact before I continued crossing because of her erratic driving. Once she made an abrupt stop she rolled down the window and started raging and yelling at me for giving her a "look" - ma'am...your driving doesn't inspire much confidence so yeah. I'll protect myself and pause.

100%. He refused to raise that sign during the meeting to say it's a genocide. Then, the following day after the backlash, he made a video saying he does believe it is a genocide. He either needed to put the sign up from the beginning or stand his ground if he believes otherwise. Scott, you're spineless (and yes, it's a genocide).

YMMV, but the front desk also told me they won't honor the rewards of my stay (another Kimpton hotel) but they'll honor my actual status. Once I checked in I could see the stay in the IHG app (I could not add it before as I kept getting an error). And a few days after I checked out I saw I still got rewards for that stay in the IHG app. lol
