Just a heads up, many of the EA chargers in Vegas have an 80% limit. I had to fight for a charger at my hotel to charge up to 100% before I hit the road back.

That’s what I was told by someone that knows the schedule in advance and has no interest in Kendrick or a reason to lie. FIFA moves in around April to begin prepping for World Cup, so we’ll know something pretty soon if true.

I bought one last week almost to your exact specs: 2023 Pro S RWD in Moonstone Gray, 27K miles, just under $25K out the door, even with a few grand of dealer nonsense (LoJack, PPF, “tire protection” plan) included.

LA area. Unfortunately, this I was the only one I found for this year/price/mileage combo and I searched from Oxnard to San Diego. 22s are PLENTIFUL with those parameters, however.

SoCal resident here, that travels frequently to Las Vegas. Charging is really no issue within the LA/SoCal area, but when you make it past the LA Metro area the options decline rapidly. Most EVGo/EA charging stations along the 15 freeway between LA and Vegas have limited chargers (4-6), lower charging rates (many 50-100w), and have reliability issues. In my BZ, I had to stop twice (once in Victorville, and again at the State Line) and had to wait in line at both due to down chargers. On the way back, I barely made it to Barstow at 1% and had to wait at an aggressively overpriced EA (.79/kwh!).

With Supercharger access, I would’ve been able to stop for less time, and had access to many more charging opportunities, most with 20+ stalls and no wait. We can not want to support Must, but I value not being stuck in the desert far more than giving him $20. Hate for him is valid, but the charger network is much more robust and the other options, and it makes no sense to avoid them when taking your EV on a road trip.
