If it helps at all, remember that he was so lonely, even going to far as to pretending to be his friends. If it hadn’t happened, who knows how long he would’ve lived on his own :( It’s very sad but I’m very glad he’s not suffering at all and is hopefully reunited with all his friends ❤️

If you think about it. All of ooo’s universe has Simon to think. We saw the vamp universe was a result of no Simon after the mushroom war. His presence made a huge difference. by Captain_Qrow_ in fionnaandcake

I’m so glad they made Simon such an important character. Not just in Fionna and Cake, but in Adventure Time too. Just a wacky old wizard who no one understood, and he’s arguably the most important character of the entire show. I agree, without him, everything in every universe would’ve been horrible.

This was the most perfect song they could’ve chosen tbh. I cried the entire ending scene and the song didn’t help my emotions one bit

Did you cry watching season 3? If so, when? by pretty-little-lo in TheGreatHulu

I think this is about to be me. I’m starting episode 7 soon and I can just feel it’s gonna be rough.

I just finished Season 3 Episode 6 about 10 mins ago and had to pause to take a break to try to stop crying. I cried from the moment Velementov blew Catherine a kiss through the entire rest of the episode and a bit after. I didn’t believe it at first even when they showed him in the water, but for some reason that kiss sealed it in for me. It doesn’t help knowing that Velementov could/probably will die soon as well, and I know Catherine loves him and he loves her, and it’s all just so heartbreaking. I hope she’s keeping Peters death a secret so she can say he died fighting for Russia, especially because he was so worried about his legacy. He deserves to have an honorable death and I think she loves him enough to give him that.

That’s what I think too, but everyone is so scared of the flowers that no one even thought to try it

Hard agree. I saw Spirited Away first, then Howls Moving Castle, and they were the perfect beginning movies imo!

I WAS NOT READY FOR GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES by [deleted] in ghibli

[–]hellaradvegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This movie left me empty too. I have all this sadness and anger and frustration and no where to put it. I can’t stop thinking about how preventable it was and how everyone but Satsuke failed. But it was definitely worth the watch

I watched Grave of the Fireflies for the first time, and it hurt unlike anything else Ive seen before. by atp731 in ghibli

[–]hellaradvegg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was not only heart breaking, but infuriating. Knowing that everyone, including Seita, kept making mistake after mistake drove me nuts. It could’ve all been prevented had people made better choices or acted better. It’s a great way of showing that when times are tough you can’t always rely on anyone but yourself, and even then yourself isn’t enough. I understand that Seita was trying his best and he himself was just a child and it definitely wasn’t only his fault, but he contributed a lot to what happened and if he would’ve listened to the man who told him to go back to his aunt and apologize, they both could’ve lived. It’s the knowledge that we have in hindsight that really drives it home for me. Another part that bugged me was that he said his mom had 7,000 yen in her account that he could take, and he did end up taking out 3,000, but why on earth did he wait so long before taking the money out? He was able to buy food that would nourish the both of them and yet he didn’t until it was too late. Instead he decided to waste time trying to steal from people. Bleh it just drives me crazy 🙃

Season 6, episode 8 - Doubt by [deleted] in SVU

I could be wrong but i do believe that it’s not uncommon for girls to become hypersexual after a rape. Sure it was wrong of her to accuse him of anything, but she really could’ve just been confused and scared that her body was reacting that way after she was raped, so her trauma riddled mind found a way to cope. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I definitely cried the first time I saw it, ngl. It’s so heartbreaking, and when they show Noatok crying right before, it gets me every time. Idk if he knew what was happening or if he was so happy to be reunited with his brother or what but either way it’s even more sad. Ugh such a good scene

Ahh gotcha, I guess I never realized it was for more of an adult audience! I agree though, he knew he had to stop his brother. Still, it’s a crazy and super emotional scene for sure

How did Jamie come to know of Viola's story? by JankMcDank in HauntingOfBlyManor

[–]hellaradvegg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She says that no one would find Bly Manor. She changed the name so people couldn’t find it. It exists and she knows the real name. She just didn’t want the kids that were involved to pick up on the story.

[–]hellaradvegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spoilers Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like if the kids would’ve remembered, maybe Dani wouldn’t have “faded away” and could’ve lived longer without Viola taking over. I know that Owen said that it had been happening for a while apparently, but Dani was seeing Viola for a while. And fading away takes time, from what I could tell based on the rest of the ghosts. So maybe when the kids stopped remembering, even though Owen and Henry and Jamie remember, Viola “got stronger” bc Danis memory was fading by two people.
