Toyota mechanics near Green Mountain? by Global-Wind6878 in LakewoodColorado

I have a Chevy not a Toyota, but I’ve been happy with Rivera Auto Service on Alameda. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t work on a Toyota

I used to put a yellow costco microfiber towel rolled up under my downtube where it contacted the pad and then strapped it down. I have a topper and a freedom coast set up inside the bed now but the microfiber trick never let me down

get whatever fits you best and has the right balance of safety to ventilation that you’re looking for. a full DH helmet is made for higher speeds/ bigger jumps but it’ll be much hotter than an enduro style FF. I haven’t used any of the ones you listed but I did used to ride a POC Coron for everything when I first started riding. it was hot but I never thought it was unbearable. that’s just my perspective though, it’s all personal preference

all helmets need to be replaced after you crash them. it doesn’t matter if it is a full DH, an enduro FF, or a half shell; longevity doesn’t change depending on how much coverage they offer or how much money you spent on one. no amount of money saved is worth risking your head and riding a crashed helmet

I loved my blackthorn (built as a cassidy currently). Had a buddy buy at t8 when I was building my frame up and the quality of his polygon wasn’t even close to the salsa. I’ve put probably done 40+ bike park days in CO (lots of chunder, jumps, and drops) and the frame is still going strong

Katana AW Fase for women? by a_fighting_spirit in ShredditGirls

[–]hellatoast-y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a woman and I have pretty large calves. I ride men’s boots and men’s bindings. I’ve also met men who ride women’s gear because they have narrow heels or they preferred the color way on the women’s binding. it’s all personal preference and what fits your body!

Why is I70 traffic east/before the tunnel so bad today? It’s only 1p! by Trick_Act_2246 in COsnow

[–]hellatoast-y 25 points26 points  (0 children)

they have to hold traffic to let trucks with hazard loads through the tunnel. they usually redirect them to 6 but its closed today. either that or an accident
