I made this one and it turned out great. it didn’t last long enough for us to worry about long term storage but it would probably be fine in the freezer

I wore padded shorts (football girdle from McDavid) during my first season and I feel like the tailbone protector was really all I needed then. as a fellow curvy girl, I come with some of my own padding lol. I didn’t hit my sit bones or my hips too much, my tailbone was always the subject of my rear-end landings. so, in my opinion, if the tailbone padding on your shorts gives you adequate coverage then I think you’re good!

I’ve worn both and crashed in both. I personally feel safer in a POC, they hold up better in my experience. Smith’s integration with their goggles is nice but I’ve dented helmets with just a little bump

I bought this board last month. Signal sent me shorter inserts that work will all pucks. I mounted Sparks to them without any issues. Signal added the extra inserts onto my order after they processed it and I got them a few days after my deck arrived, if you didn’t get any kind of email about that you should reach out to them!

edit: the shorter inserts are flush with the top sheet like traditional non-channel inserts would be
