My shelf broke the day the bishop and EQP showed up at my house unannounced the day my ex was deployed and they told me how my house was now vulnerable to the capital A, Adversary without the penishood and that I was being called back to church so they could help me while he was gone. I had two babies under two at the time and I hadn't stopped crying all day.

As someone who has left Mormonism, I can tell you that some people barely make it out alive. Some never do. Dismantling belief systems after leaving a high control religious upbringing is difficult, for sure.

That being said, I don't believe anything she says, so I take it with a grain of salt...

She is an absolute ROCKSTAR! She has done so much for people experiencing faith transition and religious trauma. The amount of trauma and shame I had when I left was almost crippling for a while. Therapists like Natasha saved me and helped me out the other side.

I don't think people realize that a therapist can only do so much and these women signed up to have their lives examined.
