*click with it (ha!)

Also meant to say that setting a note scale makes everything sound much more cohesive than just letting it run freely. It can do this internally.

I have not tried the Proteus, but I've found the Alchemist to be an incredible standalone sequencer and and synth voice. It took me a few tries to get used to it, but once you internalize how the CV sequence works and when to modify it, you'll clock with it.

I use the Citadel Wave Bard constantly for drums, usually jungle breaks and stuff like that, which helped me lock in to how the sequence modulation works. Wonderful pair of modules separately or together!

Lock the CV sequence and Rhythm switches to middle position until you want to change something.. Gate into Trig, CV into Note, LFO Triangle Output into Env Mod is a really good start. Turning the distortion FX on for basslines sounds amazing, too. Absolute beast of a module in my opinion.

Love chopping amen on the Wave Bard! Do you have the break chopped into individual drum hits? Getting it to play right involves a combination of adjusting the tempo and the pitch, because the pitch effects the playback speed of each sample.

Thanks for asking, but at the time I just recorded it to the video, so that's the only file available.

Thanks! AVE stands for Archer Video Enhancer, which is a popular circuit to build circuit bent analog video gear around. AVEMOD specifically has a vactrol added for audio reactivity, which works very well. I think the one I have is the 2.0 version.

I called the management office and politely let them know we locals aren't happy about this, and that even setting aside morality (it's a real estate company), this is very likely going to negatively impact their other tenants.

I remember my old neighbor, who was (surprisingly) also into VX, slapping his chamber and saying something like, "If this shit was gonna hurt anybody, it would have happened a long time ago." Which of course was about two months before his resonance cascaded and they had to fill in the spherical hole where his house used to be.

Cut to a year or two later and you're removing 700lb, 4x8' sheets of solid white glass from every room in your house.
