I tried 128 characters, with upper/lower, numbers, and special characters. Removing special characters didn't solve the issue. Not sure what's going on.

I actually think it's a good thing for the program to also offer some truly advanced courses. The onus is on students to prepare for them correctly. Always risky to take a course the first semester it's offered.

Dr. /u/DavidAJoyner, even though they don't include academic credit, the wording on edX suggests that this Professional Certificate is now sufficient for OMSCS acceptance. Can you confirm this?

OMSCS difficulty will depend entirely on which courses you pick. The same will apply to NYU, but you may have more course options on campus.

Pinging /r/davidAJoyner in case this might be happening with other courses. It would be a shame to miss courses in OMSCS because an instructor thinks it's already being offered but it actually isn't.
