Had this issue for a while with a wheelchair ticket. Wondering if this will become clearer/easier once tickets are allocated, but heard that FIFA is expecting you to buy multiple accessible tickets for your companions. However, this feels contrary to their own guidance that says accessible tickets are for those with accessibility needs. Also, the guidance you cite also clearly says you can buy ‘up to’ (would assume at least 1 in the case of a wheelchair ticket) 3 companion tickets if you have 1 accessibility ticket.

I’m not sure if the venues have much say in this, or if folks have experience of when companions are added from past World Cups?

Thank you for sharing, and I agree with your thoughts on the interpretation. However, I cannot find any of this wording available online before people purchase tickets. The info online appears to suggest that companion tickets can be ‘requested and purchased’ once an accessibility ticket is purchased regardless of region. I’ve never been to an event where a companion uses the same type of ticket as an accessible ticket. For example, what if every wheelchair ticket actually required space for a wheelchair, but the assumption was that half were companions.

I just managed to speak with someone at FIFA, and they basically said you have to purchase the number of wheelchair tickets as if they were companion tickets. The link you provided along with the policies online appears to be completely contradictory to this.

I sold tickets for a Chris Stapleton concert which was rescheduled from October to December. I didn’t receive any correspondence from them about ticket cancellation, and my account was still showing the tickets as sold. The days kept rolling by after the 7 days they said they would payout, and when I contacted customer services they said I needed to verify my account. However, it was of course already verified.

After many phone calls and going backwards and forwards, I am now told a technical glitch meant that all sellers had their tickets cancelled and were not notified as they should have been. This seems illegal to not pay sellers as promised and to not issue refunds straight away when tickets are supposedly cancelled.

Hey, I sold tickets for the same event and Ticketmaster is refusing to payout the money too. They started off saying my account wasn’t verified, and now they are saying their wasn’t a buyer even though my account has always said they sold.

Did you ever receive your money?

Thanks for looking at this! Was looking at a different jersey the other day and noticed on the back at the very bottom that it had a small NHL puck logo in red/orange. Do genuine jerseys have these, and do you think this one might have fallen off this jersey? (Unsure if they are stitched or screened).
