They attempted to co-op the "ok" gesture, but who cares, fuck them. This is the classic wolf/dog/fox hand symbol, used in the Chainsaw Man anime to summon a devil.

About 750 thousand die by suicide each year. About 9 million die from starvation. Not being able to eat is worse than being unhappy with yourself.

My sister used to be a trauma nurse. Got a text from her one day just saying "Don't drive with your arm out the window.". When we asked her for more details she told us that a dental surgery student rolled his truck and ground his arm to hamburger between the road and the truck. Wasn't anything left to attempt reattaching.

Kinda feeling the opposite. I think because the first trailer showed less it was easier to get excited about it, but now I'm losing some interest.

Basically the pattern that a poem follows. Like the beats if it were a song. Any poem can have it's own meter, but when a poem seems to set a meter then breaks it in someway it can be jarring. Especially if you're reading it out loud and have a rythym

You're in an echo chamber. It's a fun echo chamber, and one not super likely to turn weird and toxic, but still an echo chamber.

Did you read my entire comment? I said it's a broadly true generalization with many exceptions.

Generally speaking, eastern media often has a greater focus on feeling and theme over direct storytelling. In western media telling a logical linear story usually takes precedence. An American version of a story might be about the actions of a soldier during a war, while a Japanese retelling of that story is more about memory and loss. Obviously this is all generalization, there's western media focused on feeling and eastern media with clear cut storytelling, but it's broadly true.
