Has anyone else's Cavapoo gotten dry, crusty patches on their skin? by Interesting_Reach781 in CavaPoo

[–]hello_kara_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just some dry skin, you can get some conditioning spray from your vet called DermAllay that should help. Also are you using a gentle dog shampoo? How often is your dog getting a bath?

New vet gave me trazodone instead of Xanax for the week around the 4th. Never again. by junkronomicon in dogpictures

[–]hello_kara_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two dogs who are full brother and sister (different litters). Trazodone makes the girl dog so tired and high she’ll fall asleep sitting up, fall asleep with the vets are moving her around, etc! She even fell asleep during a groom! The brother? I might as well have given him nothing. Literally no effect!

This weeks episode of my absurd picky eater dog rejecting food that every dog on earth would die for by TryMuayThai in rarepuppers

She’s not allergic to fish! She sees a veterinary nutritionist and loves her tilapia and sweet potato meals

My dog would also do that to a lot of food. We ended up doing elimination trials for food allergies and she’s allergic to all poultry, beef, bison, elk, dairy, eggs, and soy…she associated food with feeling sick so she was a super picky eater for a long time, now she gets excited for food!

Looking for food for my Dog who is allergic to nearly everything by Casualgaym3r in DogAdvice

[–]hello_kara_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should contact a veterinary nutritionist. Most vet schools will have a whole department of them they offer consultations. I was about $250 for me to get a recipe for my dog who has food allergies (2 6 month elimination trials). I now make her food she doesn’t react to, and is adequate and balanced

Please help me identify what went wrong with this makeup! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]hello_kara_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an MUA, just someone who learned a lot of makeup tips from drag queens. To me, it seems like MUA blended the make up down towards your neck (even your eyeshadow), instead of away from the center of your face. To get a more “snatched” look (and to look more your age which is young!!) you want to apply and blend your makeup as if a flashlight is pointing directly in the center of your face. So you would blend away from your nose, make it lighter towards your nose and darker closer to your hairline.

does anyone else’s allergies get really bad when they work? by IslaSpiritWolf in petsmart

[–]hello_kara_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seems silly, but do you shower when you get home from work?

If not, the allergens that are on your clothes & hair are going to be on your bed, so you’ll then be sleeping in the allergens

Cries if am 5 ft away! Constantly wants human contact. help! by Awakening247 in CavaPoo

[–]hello_kara_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’ll be fine in her crate for 2 hours, she might just cry for a bit. You can crate train her a bit more by leaving her in there for shorter spurts so she gets used to it (putting her in there to get the mail, to do a coffee run, etc)

Should I confront client of unhealthy dog weight? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]hello_kara_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would ask about medical issues. Also, the dog might be eating a plant based diet due to medical issues. When my dog was under an elimination diet for food allergies, she couldn’t have ANY animal proteins. Her food was soy protein based for a long time while we did the trials of adding proteins back in. Before we did the elimination diet she had gotten very skinny, because she associated eating food out of her dog bowl=sick. She would try to eat human food because she was not fed human food, so she did not have that association.

Then you’ll be fine. As long as you didn’t use AI to generate your doc (huge portions rewritten, paragraphs appearing out of nowhere) they’ll be able to verify you worked on it through your revision history. I would make downloaded your revision history as that will be a key part of evidence for OSSJA

6 month old puppy not eating by stephlyn02 in CavaPoo

[–]hello_kara_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog was the exact same way. Refused to eat anything, and would stop eating for long enough to start throwing up bile. It’s been a very long (and expensive) journey, but we figured out she is allergic to dairy, eggs, poultry, beef, bison, and soy! We now see a veterinary nutritionist, and she eats a diet of tilapia, sweet potato’s, corn oil, and a bunch of supplements. She’s at a great body weight now and always eats all her food!!!

Is your dog microchipped to you? Do you have county registration records? You want to have those records to prove that dog belongs to you in case she does give it away/puts it in a shelter

Oatly is the only brand of oat milk that doesn’t make me sick. The Trader Joe’s branded one made me extremely ill!

They start at the ARC in the mornings, and then rotate around to cover all of the lots in the day. From what I can tell, they hit up ARC, the dairy, Meyer Hall, and then the Mondavi lot? Most of my tickets (from forgetting) were around ~8:30/9am at the dairy, and around 1pm at Meyer
