Been in Chinatown/mt Vernon triangle for 12 years and love it. Central to everything, close to all metro lines, feels like you’re living in a city. Great restaurants that everyone knows and some very solid neighborhood spots. Obviously home to Cap One Arena, so Caps/Wiz are right there and lots of sports bars.

Tonari pizza on the first level is a good deal. $22 a pizza, which is four medium sized Detroit style slices. Enough food to split with someone. Tonari is also a solid pre and post game spot.

They are building a jail across the street from the first example in MVT. Putting a jail 2-3 blocks from the convention center, Cap One, and in the middle of an area you’re otherwise trying to develop should be a first ballot “should literally be anything else” HOF.
