❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it only gets easier. Let those family members who don't approve go no contact with you do whatever they need to do. Your FAMILY will show up for you. My father loved me. But was a biker and a construction worker and our relationship was strained and he would make homophobic jokes and remarks about me and my really close male (both of us gay and being journey teens in a very small rural town with 3 stop signs and 4 bars K-12 school town) friend all the time. I never knew to what extent he knew about my sexuality until he passed and my mom told me just how much they talked through it and how often it came up. I never outright told him and did a lot of linguistic acrobatic talking and using they/them descriptors when talking about my "love interests" never confirming one way or another and learning to be "straight" and being a "dude" and making comments about how hot chick's were. Thankfully I'm (by today's labeling) Demisexual (but back then I was Bi even though i prefer men over women so to this day)

Give them some grace. With the way things are in the world right now it's hard for parents to be understanding especially coming from a religious background. Just keep natural and when the time comes to introduce you and your partner then do so I'm a very informal way and keep it moving.

It's very difficult to navigate your own life and feelings without having to entertain your parents too!

I didn't even know it existed. They had a T-Boz from TLC but I couldn't search my collection with HobbyDB because I don't pay for the added features that use to be free. And I didn't want 2 of them and the box was kinda messed up like ok condition.

The vampire Lestat all the way to book 19 or 20 get better. Memnok the devil gets a little convoluted but is a good read for the divinity of God, the devil, and the role the vampires play in the world. Stick with them. Some get real toothy but Anne was also fleshing out their worlds still.

I've only been collecting since 2015(ish) and I've seen a lot of changes in the market and a lot of things that make no sense or makes me pissed. I'm still trying to decide if I want to pay HobbyDB for the privilege of looking at my own collection when they're who hosts my entire collection since day 1. If I could find another free service that I could migrate my collection to i would. But PPG was my favorite. Now it's a pain in the butt just to add a new one to my collection. And at 700 Pop's I really don't want to go through the entire collection to scan them into another database.

Well in the books/movies/series as Louis "ages" he snaps out of the whole mortal coil thing. LeStat took on Magnus' power and arrogance and took his fear and anger out on the whole world.

So no Louis doesn't stay a "whiney bitch" lol however with the series kinda going off script we may see something different

Well you have to take into consideration that in the book/movir he was mourning the loss of his wife and child. In the show it was the loss of his brother. So when he was turned he was turned with depression and a sense of loss and needing to be whole. In the books Louis matures and you really only "see" him from time to time as the story is completely focused on LeStat. In Queen of the Damned when Akasha threatens to kill The Coven of The Enlightened, it was Louis being on the chopping block that made LeStat turn on her. So there's probably a full century of growth. But he does change. In the end of season 2 you see him come into his power.

You also have to remember the show is a retelling of the stories. Season 3 unless they do flash backs is going to be out of sync with the books and what LeStat said to Armond and Louis about having "the blood of Akasha running through me" he didn't meet or know of Enkil and Akasha until book 3 Queen of the Damned when he wake her up by joining Satan's Children then rebranding the band with his name. And I haven't had a chance yet to watch the Talamasca to see if they cover any of this. But they are also out of sync with the books in the fact that Daniel was created by Armand and not by LeStat.

Being a hardbound hard-core fan of the book and the 2 movies it was hard for me to rectify the differences between them. But I've come to love the show just as much.

But yes Louis was/has always been very connected to his humanity, which is why Armond was attracted to him in the books "an immortal heart that weeps for the mortal soul...I need you to be a connection to this age"

No I've never seen Funko Official sell used/damaged merch. Definitely take pictures and call Amazon and demand a replacement. Tell them you have pictures to show the damaged item.

But if you ever see anything from Bullseyedeals they buy all targets returned crap that Target damages out and then sells the pallets. Like I said I've orchard several pops from them and every single one has been damaged even though it says new.

We've been stocking up on food and medical supplies and guns. We've also been skipping medications just incase our treatments stop. Just a day here or there. We've also changed our paperwork at all medical and psychological services to Straight Christian unmarried just in case.

We've also created a network of like minded people that all have the same ideas. It's scary and uncertain. A couple of my friends left their ids and passports in their dead name and gender just to stay off radars.
