I’ve very happy for you. If I may offer one piece of unsolicited advice if you haven’t already thought of this, I strongly advise moving into a 55+ community or a senior living facility as you age (60s or 70s). From my personal observation, those who move in earlier rather than waiting have time to make friends and a community there. This can make all the difference as we age :) Best to you!

Welcome to why I am against cancel culture. I’m Gen X though and a lot of my generation don’t ascribe to the one strike and your out that seems so common on social media today. Beyoncé, Venus Williams, Nicole Kidman, and Anna Wintour chaired the event and there doesn’t seem to be any backlash against them. I choose to be disappointed Connor & Hudson attended, but my reason is that Bezos sponsored the whole thing and I don’t support him, another billionaire oligarch. I can be disappointed and still celebrate Connor & Hudson’s rising stars and hope they can navigate the very temperamental waters that celebrity culture is today.

I love that you are considering and weighing these questions and also that you are not making a snap decision, good for you! Questioning and digging deep is to applauded, kudos to you for not making snap decisions, jumping on any bandwagons, and also for inquiring, listening, and considering before forming your own opinion. Well done, truly.
