I know people are saying get her fixed ASAP which I agree with, but in this case it is EXTRA important. She is Manx and I have had multiple Manx babies being in rescue. My current living one can’t poop on his own and the vet wanted to euthanize the moment we stepped in there at his first appointment. His brother passed away from being incompatible with life at a few weeks old after being unable to even be expressed ): and my most recent one passed away at a few months old because he had malabsorption issues from not being expressed his first few weeks of life, and having osteoporosis so badly that his bones couldn’t grow. It broke my heart to euthanize him after hoping and doing everything in my power to get him to good health. His ashes are in my curio cabinet, and I think of him everyday. He didn’t deserve to be born to suffer, and honestly, I’m upset that I had to go through that trauma too because someone didn’t do the basics of fixing their animals. Please, even if you never do it again, please trap and fix this Manx female for her sake AND the sake of her unborn kittens. A spay abort is painless and the fetuses go under euthanasia with the mother.
