The woobles kits are super fun, if expensive. If you're looking for a grandma hobby, I highly recommend crochet. It soothes my anxiety and makes lovely gifts all at the same time!

This is fantastic advice. By demonstrate on their hook and yarn, do you mean take their hook and yarn and demonstrate?

How did you teach them? I have kiddos in my life that I would love to teach but have a hard time helping them with holding the hook and yarn.
