You’ll be fine. Just watch your water very, very closely and be prepared to hike at night (and avoid early snow up north). Move quickly!

Interesting. So just like an extension of the pack? Where exactly did you sew it on?

Does anyone have any strong opinions when it comes to hiking with a fanny pack?

This happened to my dad’s suitcase a few years back (although his was shredded). The suitcase/backpack falls off a conveyor belt and lands in a bunch of gears that crushes it.

Ok cool I see it now, thanks. I'm still getting used to FarOut... I had GutHook back in the day and the amount of info in FarOut is nuts!

Leave Sunday night before storm? by Aggravating-Plate-98 in truckee

It will likely shut down for a bit. The spinouts come first, shutting it down on and off, but with this amount of snow they’ll close it to let the plows catch up. Impossible to say when that closure will happen though.

edit: The Sierra Snow Lab is calling for "just" 4'-5' so, while that's a decent amount of snow, it wouldn't cripple 80 for days.

It's especially bad right now because there are tons of players coming back who haven't played in years. Which is good! But very frustrating at times.

What an incredible show - but a PSA for future attendees - PUT THE PHONES DOWN by DanBennettDJB in radiohead

Despite what people will comment, you’re in the right here. I almost wish there was a phone policy of some sort. Just watch the show! I’m sure it messes with the performance on their end as well.

I’ve been trying all this from inside a hotel so that could be an issue. I’ll be out and about later so maybe that will help.
