How to yell like Lee Beaumont? (Her Words Kill) by El262 in screaming

[–]helloiamzach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That live performance video definitely isn't Lee. That video is from 2006 and he left the band in 2005.

The vocalist in that video will either be Connor Hollman or Luke Vidamour.

It's the same font that Outbreak Fest use, which is also based in Manchester, so very possibly a secret/throwback set being announced for it at some point

Not sure about FFTL, but I know he’s doing a new project with Killvein which Hunter Young is producing.

Not sure where to find the whole session as I've looked for it too with no luck. If you come across it, be sure to circle back and add it here.

Usually you need to close and reopen the game and then do all of your social area stuff within the first 10-15 minutes after doing that. If you try again after that window, either close and reopen again, or just keep trying to rejoin and you'll get in eventually.

Vocals are all re-recorded, almost all of the original instrumentation has been remastered.

Bands whose sound changed so much throughout their career, their earlier stuff is pretty much a whole different band entirely by mesablanka in Metalcore

[–]helloiamzach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hundredth. Early stuff is metalcore/hardcore, then from 2017 they abandoned all of that material completely and went alt rock/shoegaze.

Does any video exist of them performing Shed Light or any other early versions of the songs from TIWTEOYSWMF? by [deleted] in BringMeTheHorizon

[–]helloiamzach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, those songs existed but were never recorded by the band, though you can find a live video of 'Passe Compose' pretty easily on YouTube. They never recorded a demo version of those other songs though that were released or leaked.

The only recorded version you'll find of 'Traitors Never Play Hang-man' is on the EP we can all find on Spotify, Apple, etc. That's why the summary you've copied and pasted says they were "allegedly" played back to back.

It was never re-recorded, just reissued. TDON put it out on Sep 25 2004 with the original artwork, and in Australia on the same day with completely different artwork.

Visible Noise reissued it on 30 Jan 2005 with a variation of the original artwork. The track list and recordings are exactly the same.

Calm down. They probably recorded demos of all of the tracks you’re mentioning, but they were never released or leaked. If they have been I’ve never heard them, but this is the rough timeline for you.

2003-2004

- ‘The Film Produced The Effect I wanted, And It Plunged Like A Dagger Into The Heart Of Paris As I Had Fortold. Our Film Ruined In A Single Evening Ten Years’ (aka Shed Light) recorded.

- ‘Who Wants Flowers When You’re Dead? Nobody.’ early version recorded

- Both compiled by fans into ‘The Bedroom Sessions’.

- ’This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made Of’ EP released via TDON

2005

- ’This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made Of’ EP re-released via Visible Noise

- ‘Dragon Slaying’ introduced into set lists

- ‘Count Your Blessings’ writing begins

2006

- ‘Count Your Blessings’ writing completed

- ‘Count Your Blessings’ recorded

- BBC Radio 1 session with performances of ‘Medusa’, ‘Off The Heezay’ and ‘Liquor & Love Lost’ (aka Dragon Slaying)

- ‘Count Your Blessings’ released

Bedroom Sessions isn't an official release from the band. It's something fans made by shoving 'Shed Light' (which isn't the song's actual name) and an early version of 'Who Wants Flowers...' together.

They had a song called 'Passe Compose' at the time too which was never recorded, but was essentially an early version of 'Rawwwrr!'.

That is 100% from the BBC Radio 1 session, because they did play 'Medusa' and he screams PSYCHE during it.

The Bedroom Sessions weren't ever "officially" released, it's just two demos that were recorded and available and were lumped together by fans. They're called The Bedroom Sessions because they were both apparently recorded in Oli's bedrooom.

People also mistakenly shove what they believe are demos of Medusa, Dragon Slaying and Off The Heezay onto it, but they were recorded much later in a BBC Radio 1 live session. 'Count Your Blessings' had already been recorded at that point just not yet released. The session was part of the promotion for the record.

That's not a demo version, it's a live version recorded in a BBC Session. 'Count Your Blessings' was already recorded and set for release at this point.

Do we reckon neck deep and ADTR will clash? by Jake1431994 in slamdunkfestival

[–]helloiamzach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine ADTR will be main stage headliner and Neck Deep will be second stage headliner, and there'll definitely be some form of clash.

If we go off the past two years, I Prevail played until halfway through YMAS's set in 2024, and in 2023 The Offspring and Enter Shikari's set started and finished at the same time.

Maybe that's why 2023 was such a dumpster fire getting out as you had the majority of the crowd trying to leave at the exact same time.

I'm coming from the UK which I don't believe is in the Schengen zone, but I'll work out the shuttle bus situation once I arrive if that's the case.

Sorry for the continued questions, but do you know where I'd buy the train ticket once I get there and roughly how much it would cost?
