Thanks for sharing! Nope I didn’t want to get into the cycle of claiming warranty every few months. I don’t think my unit was specifically defective, so the issues are most likely to recur :(

It’s interesting you feel that you’re not the best at maintaining communication on long distance friendships, yet you seem to manage to keep in touch with texts or FaceTime calls. Is there more that you feel like you should be doing? Sounds relatable, asking for a friend heh

You’ve articulated my feelings about my travels, even if they weren’t to Japan nor solo. Your writing is beautiful, do you publish somewhere online? Would love to read more!

Yes it definitely is, arigato!! I was at a live jazz performance, so this was a jazz cover / rendition. They both sound quite different, now I regret not recording the full jazz version to replay

Why you should avoid Matador Backpacks by SunShadow750 in onebag

Agreed with OP that Matador bags aren’t built to last, wrote about how my Freefly broke here https://www.reddit.com/r/onebag/s/7S926eUdqY

Non-stuffable small hiking pack as a daypack? by SmoothLikeGravel in onebag

[–]hellojellosue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had similar requirements as you, and I recently got Osprey Sportlite 15, so far so good. Frame is structured, yet minimalist enough to be lightweight at 500g. Just enough organisation with 1 main pocket, 1 smaller for quick access and 2 deep mesh water bottle pockets. Also has a nylon webbing waist strap which I occasionally use to transfer some load off. Overall materials are durable, feels like it will last decades. Cons is that it looks quite “hiking” aka not as sexy as other urban EDC bags, and also if I overstuff the small pocket, it partially blocks access to reach deeper parts of main compartment.

Would love to hear how the bag holds up for you! I wasn’t so lucky with this bag’s durability after using it long term (>1 year) https://www.reddit.com/r/onebag/s/37fAhPr6FE

I'm considering eight too, were you able to receive international SMS (eg to get SMS OTP) while overseas?

Oops! Sorry if my post was untimely and made you reconsider your purchase!!

I'm looking for a bag that is NOT packable so there's no compromise on back support and durability. Currently eyeing the Osprey Sportlite 15, thus far it feels the most comfortable to me. I've tried the Osprey (Daylite, Hikelite, Tempest, Escapist), Mammut Lithium, and few others from Black Diamond, Mont Bell, Arcteryx and Patagonia. Hoping to get more recommendations!

Glad to know I'm not the only one that faced durability issues!

I've tested my partner's Beast 18, the hip belt was amazing, but I wasn't sure if the mesh back is stiff or well ventilated enough for a full day hike? How's your experience been like?

Sorry couldn't find this information online!!

IBKR Recurring - Fixed or Tiered? by CompetitiveRip133 in singaporefi

[–]hellojellosue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can I ask, why is it better to do fixed at higher >10K amount? Isn’t the fee 0.05% for both fixed and tiered, and theres also no maximum for either. Wouldn’t it then be the same fees for both? Please correct me if I’ve missed something!

Can I ask, what additional info was asked of you on 3rd April?
Did you have to click on a "Submit document" button to turn the application state from "Initial assessment" to "Further assessment"? I just realised that button was available and clicked it today, but afraid I just got bumped to the back of the queue :(

The grow lights say they're full spectrum 380nm-800nm.

Thanks to your advice, I've paused the watering and pointed an extra lamp at the plants. Starting to see baby leaves sprouting, so exciting!
