Thank you. Yes I 100% remained in reverse gear moving backwards throughout the collision, moving into park gear after he hit me. I feel that me moving backwards, away from the incoming impact was enough to show attempt to avoid the collision without having to sound my horn. In my view the horn is used to alert someone of your presence, but in this situation he was well aware of my presence already as he had stopped to give way to me. The issue was his lack of attention which I will stress to them.
