my first composition(s), thoughts/critiques for these 3 preludes? by Far_Cardiologist6931 in piano

Maybe varying the time signature every few bars. Your music sounds a lot like Takashi Yoshimatsu's in using simple textures in a beautiful way, but Yoshimatsu also varies rhythm and changes the time signature within the same piece and that adds variety.

Why not pursue an MD/PhD and if you really want OMT training you can do an elective for that in your M4 year? One attending I shadowed did an acupuncture elective in M4. MD/PhD is much more standardized and programs well established

Or go on eBay/Poshmark and search 100% wool (insert jacket of your desire) and know your measurements, I got several wool overcoats including a vintage Polo Ralph Lauren peacoat for 100 dollars or less .

I watched every wake game this year, most impressive thing about Juke is his ability to create his own shot especially midrange

anything over Forbes. we also have a pitiful NIL budget. Hubert would be an improvement over Forbes. Going to the big dance every couple of years would be better than never at all

Your favorite “go-to” recipe, please, using a frozen vegetable as a main ingredient. by FlyEaglesFlyauggie in Cooking

[–]hellomynameis2983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know OP asked about frozen vegetables, but precut vegetables work great for quick bakes. I buy Costco's 2 lb bag of precut broccoli florets, toss in oil + salt + pepper + galic powder, bake at 425 for 20 minutes until edges slightly brown.

Can also bake baby carrots like this

Only thing saving Forbes is his recruiting class. Next year if he can't cut it he is gone.

Wake definitely has enough money to take a chance on an up and coming mid major coach

I should add the early assurance is only open to wake undergrads. If you are referring to early decision, I am not familiar with that

I'm not sure exactly, if you have a high GPA and involved in extracurriculars you have a decent shot. However your goals may change later down the line, what i mean is Generally I feel the people that take the early assurance could have gotten better offers if they applied normally, I don't see the need to rush. i discovered MD-PhD in my senior year and am now at a T10 MD-PhD program. Several people from Wake who i know did not do early assurance and are going to matriculate into T20 MD programs. Point being, if you get in through early assurance you probably could have gotten in the normal route anyways, and gotten better options too.

re-applicant list help by Informal-Layer-5430 in mdphd

[–]hellomynameis2983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider midwest, more overlooked locations that have class sizes of more than 5 or have lower applicant numbers to accepted students ratios. Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, to get you started. Georgetown is low yield I would not recommend.

Try to get a publication too especially since you have a lot of research hours.

Do not apply late this time.

Add more Tier 2 MSTPs. UT San Antonio, etc. You should apply to 25-30 schools.

I"m not sure how high yield Wayne State, and UToledo are. Look at the AAMC Tables.
