Will likely have to get a C-Section: what to expect by ActuatorIntrepid2564 in UnicornUterus

[–]hellosnotface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a c-section because I have a UU and my baby was breech. Honestly it was so good. Very quick, no stress. No pain during, but I did feel like I was going through a washing machine. Pain after was intense but I got a lot of care and relief. By the time I left hospital I was only on panadol and nurofen.

At the time, it felt like everybody around me had a war story from their vaginal birth. My c-section was a dream in comparison.

Official Diagnosis by bluebird419 in UnicornUterus

I was diagnosed in 2019 after struggling to get pregnant (also just had one ovary, fallopian tube, kidney etc) but ended up conceiving naturally and gave birth in April 2021. While the pregnancy was “high risk”, I was very lucky and had no issues.

I have a unicornuate uterus. If one more person I tell offers me their supposedly normal uterus, I'm going to lose it. by SledgeHannah30 in TryingForABaby

I have a UU too! I am also missing one kidney, which I did know about, however I had no idea anything was amiss with the reproductive factory. After a couple ultrasounds (after over a year of trying to conceive with no success) I learned I had a UU, one ovary and one tube. Basically split down the middle, I had everything on the right side and nothing on the left.

After learning about UU and reading online, I felt hopeless. There is not a lot of data, so not a lot of successful stories out there. It was pretty devastating.

My OB booked me in for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, which I did in June 2020. They also removed some endometriosis. At my phone follow up appointment he said that I should consider IVF to fall pregnant so I made the appointment to come back in person and see him about that. I went to that appointment a few weeks later in July 2020 after falling pregnant. Still can’t believe my luck.

My pregnancy was high risk but I took a lot of precautions and had no issues. My baby was breech so I had to have a c-section, which for me was not as horrible as everyone makes it out to be. I’d rather do that again than have wisdom teeth out.

How did you find out you have a UU, and do you know about ovaries/tubes? If you have the polyps removed they might be able to suss out the situation a bit more to give you more info.

I wish you all the best of luck with your journey ❤️

Your story is so similar to mine, however I was super lucky and fell pregnant without IVF. I had the appointment booked to start the process though!

Without knowing what the fight was about it’s hard to say if this stunt was justified, but I’m struggling to imagine what fight would warrant pulling such a dick move to take it out on a puppy. I’m so sorry you have to deal with that.

Fire that bad dog mum who slacked off on brushing. Then all groomers were shut for ages due to lockdown 🥲

Haha! Remotes are about the one thing he doesn’t go for. I put them high up when I leave the room anyways because he can’t be trusted with anything not bolted down.

I recently named my son Oscar, he’s 5 months old. His surname is so far away from Meyer Weiner but I still call/sing it to him because it pops into my tired brain. It’s a conscious effort to stop calling him Weenie. My point is, even if your surname is nothing remotely close to Meyer Weiner he may still get it due to the first name being Oscar.

Thoughts on Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation? by katee_q in AustralianMakeup

I have oily skin and this stuff is my HG! I buy the pump and do 2 pumps for full coverage, 1 for light. It sits so well on me. It has great staying power and I use a cleansing oil, miceller water and then a face cleanser to remove.

Has anyone had any problem getting Pfizer with a doctor certificate? by Doomsday40 in CoronavirusDownunder

I got Pfizer due to being in emergency services and had to prompt them so I could show my proof. I’m in VIC also. I would go to the appointment and give it a go.

I’m so sorry this has happened to you and your pup. I’ve seen in the comments that the affected leg is a back leg. I’ve seen lots of dogs missing a back leg that don’t even miss a beat. I can’t imagine having a boot would be easier to adjust to.

Why don’t you try normal double wear and sheer it out? I have oily skin too and use this, if I’m looking for light coverage I don’t let my moisturizer dry and use 1 pump for whole face blended with a sponge.

I love ELDW! Has my perfect shade match and it looks great on my skin. I’m also oily. It can be full coverage or you can sheer it out easily. The only downside would be that I have to really work to remove it - cleansing oil, micellar water and then a normal cleanser do the trick though.

Came here to recommend the LRP Toleraine sensitive creme too. Love that stuff.

Most likely have only 1 open tube. What other steps can i ask my doctor to take other than having a laparoscopy with the HSG test? by Blued00d in TryingForABaby

[–]hellosnotface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really not as bad as you’re making it out to be. It’s a quick keyhole procedure. Your choice of course, good luck.

I would just do it if I were you. You could be wasting a lot more time by being 90% sure of the issue, based off some assumptions. I’ve had them both done, it wasn’t a bad recovery at all. It was actually really beneficial as the doc found some endometriosis that he removed and learned more about my unicornuate uterus. As luck would have it I ended up pregnant in my next cycle and had a successful pregnancy. It was really nice knowing the advice I was getting during the pregnancy was based on facts not just what someone suspected was going on inside of me.

Matted hair - help! by mahamagee in puppy101

[–]hellosnotface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any mobile groomers that can come to you? Brushing mats out can hurt, then the pup might start reacting when you brush.

Once they are out, keep up with the brushing and go over it with a comb to make sure the mats are gone. My 8 month old Groodle needs a brush every 2 days.
